We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Wandile Khomo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Wandile, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?

The name comes from my artist name which is The Immortal DemiGod KÀI(T.I.D KÀI) and since The Immortality Music Records company makes godly and unique music wich will never die(immortal), It made alot of sense naming my company The Immortality Music Records and as you go deeper, You’ll find alot of things which is related to the name

Wandile, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Wandile Khomo, I’m from South Africa and I am mostly known through music by the name T.I.D KÀI(The Immortal DemiGod KÀI). I started doing music since I was kid back in primary, and as time went by, I found myself falling in love with music and later then mastered being musician and also being a producer, composer, songwriter, sound engineer and choreographer. I’m actually a jack of all trades because my talents and skills. Few years went by and then came a time to start my own company The Immortality Music Records which is a music record label that provides music that’s not unique only but music that is good for your soul and music that will never die. I am currently working on the label and also myself as a musician, The reason I do music it is because of how I communicate with the world since I am a man and growing up, People had the phrase that says “A man doesn’t cry”. It’s kinda sad knowing that as a man your feelings and you speaking out your problems doesn’t matter to people and some of us lack the skill of communication but through music I’m able to communicate about how I feel and what are we facing each day as a man and I also want to bring peace, love and integrity to the world through my music, Because of that I believe that I am chosen to lead.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.

I am not the only founder of The Immortality Music Records company. Sandile Khomo who is known as Tay Litty in music is the co-founder and also my cousin. He is the reason why I got into the music industry and he has been with me from the start of my music career up until now and we both created this music company to spread our message to the world and later recruit musicians with the relatable dreams and ambitions.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

It was a very hard part of the process because of the lack of funds, I had to go through obstacles inorder for me to attain my goals. Social media is one of the easiest ways to get an audience at home since everyone is on their phones lately. All that it takes to get the audience you need is to provide eye catching content and make them engage with that content. Be patient and always be persistent with your content always.
