We recently connected with WALTER SEBASTIANI and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, WALTER thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
the difference is that I do the work with passion love!! This profession is my life since I was very young! Once I arrived at the house of a client who had a swimming pool to install his floor and we only had 3 days to finish since on Saturday I had the son’s birthday with my brother Cristian we carried out the installation with an almost perfect tile cleaning finishing on Saturday at 3 am in the morning with our bloody hands and to top it all off a policeman stopped us on the highway for carrying waste and tools covered with plastic tarps which seemed suspicious at the time and two people driving a van in those conditions , The moral is that the difference is always in one, make it, always do your best, no matter the price you charge or the distance, what you should always make is your professionalism and ability to be a true connoisseur of your work.!
WALTER, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
well this is a long story but very true to tell and many do not know it but now they will know it thanks to this opportunity that you give me here in your report!! I learned my profession for many reasons, the first and most important was that since I was very young, I would say since I was 8 years old, I always liked to assemble, create, manufacture, disassemble furniture, walls, floors and achieve new and more beautiful places! In Argentina, my place of origin, I worked from a very young age due to the circumstances of my life. My father died very young and my mother dedicated herself to raising two children on her own, which forced the situation to start working from a young age. Then my mother met whoever I was. Idol in many aspects of my life and which I adopted as a true father Nonito Q.D.P, he taught us respect always good work and professional, attentive, helpful and above all calm for many circumstances of life, work as a painter, carpenter, installer ceramic, bathroom, security, newsboy a profession for many years in the face of cold heat rain above all I was always present sick tired always for many years then in August 1995 I traveled to the US as a North American with an idea to revolutionize what it was the concept of a person of construction seen as a person without much school and few resources to get ahead in this world so marked by what you are or you do as a lifestyle, I always say and affirm that we builders are as important as a lawyer without us, how would you shower if your bathroom was not built, a doctor without our experience in building a good hospital would not have good doctors because like them they would work in its operating rooms perfectly built to perform an open heart operation ? We are an essential part of society since the beginning of the stone age and much if many do not know it, the house where we all live in this world is made by people and true professionals of life for a better world!!! I always seek to renew the entire construction market in many ways elegance capacity humor yes a lot of humor patience always listen and know how to understand all people’s tastes and the best thing is not to criticize my colleagues if the client decided to hire another professional that’s correct but If then that person does not do a good job, we are here to help that client as long as the material that the client buys is of good quality and not imperfect, which makes quality work very difficult, which is why it happens in some jobs and people do not understand. many sell products that are not warm enough and we cannot perform magic on these types of materials…
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social media was never really important to me for many reasons I didn’t have much time since work didn’t allow it, until one day my friend the owner of an ARGENTINE restaurant called KUSSIFAY in Hollywood Florida told me Walter with your personality and charisma you have to make you know more and many potential clients of better jobs and more remodelable for you will come to you !! that day she downloaded it to my cell phone and everything began to flow spontaneously the first week I had almost 150 followers and almost 5 people wrote to me for work I said to myself wow what is happening then I said to myself well I have to be myself And why not put my graces and madness in the stories of this social network and so I did it where I arrived I filmed it with clients bank directors, doctors, lawyers, owners of millionaire companies, eccentric clients and so with everyone on the streets they started me to recognize and then everything began to grow and grow that the followers were more and more invited to Canada by the company of walls and waterproof supplements for the showers, interviews in Mar Del Plata ARGENTINA where I grew up in Atlanta invitations to openings and so on an end to many more invitations to different construction companies inside and outside the US,.. my messages on INSTAGRAM were getting more and more arriving in a single day to almost 150 I had almost no time to answer and some answered almost a week later I really felt embarrassed to answer and well they my followers very happy that I I talk to them and that makes me feel very good towards them and useful for my audience that I respect and love them for always following me for years
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Ok, the best source has always been the recommendation, and also my social media, a highly recommended tool since clients can look at your work from day to day there and verify that you are real by many actions that one publishes and the people who follow your social media page Instagram in my case..
