We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Vivianne Nix a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Vivianne, appreciate you joining us today. One of our favorite things to brainstorm about with friends who’ve built something entrepreneurial is what they would do differently if they were to start over today. Surely, there are things you’ve learned that would allow you to do it over faster, more efficiently. We’d love to hear how you would go about setting things up if you were starting over today, knowing everything that you already know.
Reflecting on my experiences, I see how important it is to be part of a community. A community that appreciates, respects, and inspires you to become the best version of yourself. Being a part of a community fosters both personal and professional growth, helps you reach your dreams more quickly than you could alone, and provides unwavering support at every stage of life. While “it takes a village” is commonly referenced in the context of raising children, I believe this principle is crucial for the growth and development of individuals throughout life, regardless of age. As our communities evolve and we may belong to multiple groups, the feelings of belonging, being valued, and the reciprocal inspiration we share with others are invaluable to our identity and humanity.

Vivianne, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Women4Women was developed to empower women through knowledge sharing and community building. We aim to create a network where women can learn from seasoned experts, inspire one another, and achieve personal and professional growth. By fostering a vibrant community, we empower women to reach their full potential and make a positive impact on the world.
We take a unique approach to networking. Our monthly events are 90 minutes and intentionally structured to maximize value and minimize awkwardness.
Each event kicks off with a relaxed social half-hour. As attendees mingle, they can enjoy delicious food and drinks and get excited about the upcoming activity, which has been thoughtfully arranged.
Next, a seasoned expert delivers a captivating presentation, sharing valuable insights and inspiring the audience. This knowledge-sharing session is concise and engaging, providing actional tips and sparking curiosity.
The final 30-minute component is a fun, interactive activity, typically led by a women-owned business from the community. As attendees stand beside one another, they naturally connect and build authentic connections.
November’s event is Juggle & Blend: The Work-Life Juggle & Tea Blending. Recently, we have also had Bloom & Balance: A Women’s Health Panel and Floral Arranging, Travel, Tacos, and Tequila: Travel Tips, Tacos, and Tequila Tasting.
This unique approach allows us to support the women and women-owned businesses within our community while having fun along the way.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Building a strong reputation within our market is a cornerstone of our mission. By consistently delivering on our brand promise, we foster trust and credibility with our attendees. Our well-curated events feature high-caliber speakers who offer valuable insights and inspire our audience. Coupled with engaging and fun activities, these events create a unique and memorable experience. This consistent approach reinforces our band identity, attracts like-minded individuals, and solidifies our position as a leading women’s networking platform within the community.

Does your business have multiple or supplementary revenue streams (like a ATM machine at a barbershop, etc)?
We have our first Women’s Weekend coming up in 2025! It will be a weekend filled with fun, inspiration, and authentic connections!
