We were lucky to catch up with Violet Stanford recently and have shared our conversation below.

Violet , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Entering into the Wedding Sparklers market was quite a shock to me! It wasn’t until I was planning my own wedding that I realized how difficult it was to find true wedding sparklers. The only type of sparkler you could find was your ordinary 4th of July or New Years’ sparklers which would give off too much smoke for you to have the perfect wedding departure. After spending an entire day searching for steel wire core sparklers which help make them virtually smokeless and ashless sparklers I felt like it shouldn’t ever be this hard to have a wedding sparkler exit. Months after my wedding I loved how amazing these pictures turned out so be I decided to start my own journey on how to source them and make it easier for soon-to-be brides to enjoy!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
After being in business for over 15 years I can now know I’m helping make a difference in the wedding community. When I reflect on how much brides have also taught me about our wedding sparklers helps reaffirm being a celebration exit in the industry.

Have you ever had to pivot?
COVID was an increasingly difficult time for small businesses and even harder for brides to be. With no weddings taking place for over a year really put a strain on families planning and attempting to replan. We can’t be more thrilled that the worst is past us and families can cherish lifetime celebrations again. As a business, we had to shift focus on being in touch with brides throughout the journey stage instead of leading up to the big day. It was extremely exciting and helpful as we can now better help plan the perfect envisioned ending to your wedding night.
