Alright, Viola thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

The journey to success has been beautiful, through the ups and downs. So many high highs and some low lows but through it all my parents have never neglected me or given up on me. My dad has been worked multiple jobs at a time while been an entrepreneur my whole life. My mother worked at the post office for over 39 years. I saw my parents work hard, never make excuses and help everyone around us. They instilled a sense of hustle in me and also a sense of service. I’ve always had a passion for helping others and I got that from them. They also help me raise my amazing daughter, London. I have the most amazing family and I thank God for them daily.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Hey yall! Im Viola, I am an Entrepreneur , Artist Manager, Stockbroker, Mom, and the Executive Director of Trapxart. Trapxart is a worldwide creative community that bridges the gap of culture and art through elevated experiences and events. From a young age I had a big personality, was stylish, loved Art, loved music and was a natural creative. I even won best dressed senior year of high school and that gave me the courage to take my creativity serious. I moved to Atlanta right after high school at 17 to attend Clark Atlanta University.

I began to build my brand Choices at age 19 after the passing of my boyfriend, Keenon. This was one of toughest parts of my life. It was my escape from my heartbreak. I ended up growing my brand and had a lot of support. I was able to put my brand in stores and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. I ended up moving back to California during the pandemic at the height of my business. I was so scared but God had a plan. In 2021 I was invited to a Trapxart event. The first time I attended I knew I belonged, I remember the exact feeling. A few months later, I was a designer in a show to now 4 years later I am the Executive Director of Trapxart. I am Beyond thankful for my big sister Amina who put me in this position. My job is so fulfilling and I grow every day. We have community of 1000s that we uplift and creative with.

I also am a talent Manager and work with an extremely talented upcoming artist , Young Reshaud. I also work with my sister, partner and model Haille, who is amazing. I am also the creative director for Derrick Nealy, who is also extremely talented and gifted.

Have you ever had to pivot?

Absolutely! When I moved back to California in the pandemic I honestly didn’t know what that meant for the future of my business. I didn’t have that many friends in the Bay Area since I had lived in Atlanta for 7 years and I didn’t have the same resources I had in Atlanta. With that being said I was always looking for an opportunity, and I knew if I couldn’t find one I had to create one. I started asking any body I knew to model for me and to bring their friends. I needed everybody in my brand. That’s when I met my best friend Haille. She helped me meet more people and get used to the Bay Area. Haille is really my Rock. We started networking and going to events to meet people and that’s how we found trapxart. Now we both are running trapxart along with Amina and her Husband Jesse.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

I believe the most efficient way of growing our clientele is being authentic and making people feel good. I think the best product or business is one that makes people FEEL better and trapxart is one of those places you can come and let your hair down and be yourself and meet other amazing people. Also our consistency, we have very consistent events weekly/ bi weekly and they are always a super dope vibe. People know if they come to trapxart , they will have a great time.
