Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Vincent Lanci. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Vincent, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

When I was 21, I made the decision to not get in the car with someone drinking and driving. By taking the “safe route” home, I was hit by a car that left a bar on my walk home.

After waking from a coma and suffering from a Traumatic Brain Injury, I never looked back.

I began sharing my story through books and podcasts in 2019, and that lead to leading a team of podcasters at Coming Alive Podcast Production to help others find success in the same ways. I help people through coaching, my book, I Want to Start a Podcast, and a free resource through my podcast, Pod O’Clock.

Soon after, I took my brain injury coaching to the next level by releasing my book, TBI Recovery, with formalizing Living Proof TBI Recovery.

Vincent, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Vincent A. Lanci, once left for dead, emerged from a coma transformed and never looked back. From a finance career and speaking at his MBA commencement, to now helping others amplify their voice as a 4x Podcast host, 7x Author and CEO of Coming Alive Podcast Production and Living Proof Traumatic Brain Injury Coaching.

Have you ever had to pivot?

I was chasing the corner office, job title, and salary associated with a position gained through my BS in Finance and MBA degrees. When I got a taste of it, I realized I was unfulfilled.

This lead me to go from having “one foot in, one foot out” of entrepreneurship to following my passions.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Becoming an expert through actually being in the trenches. All of my companies are built through first hand experiences and lessons learned to help my clients be their best.
