As the owner of Boulder Hair Collective, my journey into the world of hair began 17 years ago, but the spark was ignited long before that. As a child, I spent countless afternoons with my granny, watching her style her hair and experimenting with my own creativity alongside her. Those moments weren’t just about hair—they were about connection, artistry, and the joy of making someone feel beautiful. That early passion grew into a lifelong love for the craft, and it’s what inspired me to create a space like Boulder Hair Collective, where creativity, connection, and care for others are at the heart of everything we do.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.

Maintaining a loyal clientele in Boulder for so many years has been all about building genuine relationships and consistently delivering exceptional experiences. I believe in truly listening to my clients, understanding their unique needs, and creating a personalized approach to their hair goals. Staying passionate about my craft and continually evolving—through advanced education and staying ahead of trends—has allowed me to provide the best service possible. Boulder is such a special community, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust and support my clients have shown me over the years. It’s their loyalty that inspires me to keep doing what I love every day.

Have you ever had to pivot?

Opening Sol Versalles in Mexico alongside my partner while continuing to run Boulder Hair Collective has been a dream come true and a journey of passion and determination. My partner and I were inspired by the beauty, culture, and artistry of Mexico, and we wanted to create a space that reflects that energy while offering the same luxury and sustainability values that define Boulder Hair Collective. Balancing both ventures comes from a deep love for what I do, a strong team I can rely on, and a vision to build meaningful connections through our craft, no matter where we are. It’s been an incredible experience to expand into this new chapter and share our passion with two amazing communities.
