Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tracy Winborn. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tracy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
If I’m being honest… I don’t wish I started sooner or later. I believe I started exactly when I was supposed to.
My entrepreneurial journey didn’t begin from a place of comfort. It came from life pushing me to evolve. While working 9 to 5 jobs, I was always finding ways to build something of my own on the side. I’ve always had that drive in me to create, to serve, and to build something bigger than just a job.
I officially stepped deeper into entrepreneurship with TwinzBling and later expanded into the travel industry with TWinz Journey & Travel, where I now specialize in couples, honeymoons, and helping people experience life beyond their everyday environment.
Life wise, I was navigating a lot. Grief, career shifts, becoming a single mother, going back to school, and rebuilding after major life transitions. I wasn’t starting from a perfect place. I was starting from a place of faith and determination.
Now looking back…
If I had started sooner, I probably wouldn’t have had the maturity, life experience, or resilience to sustain it. I had not yet gone through the things that shaped my discipline, my mindset, and my purpose.
If I had started later, I may have missed opportunities to grow through the process. Entrepreneurship stretched me, refined me, and taught me lessons I could not have learned any other way.
So honestly, I would not change the timing.
I started when I had just enough vision to begin and just enough pressure to not quit.
And that is what made it real.
Looking back, what I value most is not just the business, it is who I became in the process.

Tracy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
For those who may not know me, my name is Tracy Winborn. I am a Mental Health Specialist, entrepreneur, and a woman whose life has truly been shaped by resilience, faith, and purpose.
My journey into my industries was not traditional. It was built through real life experiences, challenges, and a deep desire to create impact. I spent over 20 years in the medical field before a life changing car accident forced me to pivot. Around the same time, I was navigating personal loss, grief, and major life transitions, including becoming a single mother and rebuilding my life from the ground up.
Instead of letting those moments break me, I allowed them to redirect me.
That is what led me deeper into mental health work, where I now serve as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist and CDCA, supporting individuals dealing with addiction, trauma, grief, and recovery. My work is rooted in helping people heal, regulate, and rebuild their lives with practical tools and genuine support.
At the same time, my entrepreneurial spirit never left me. I built TwinzBling, where I offer affordable, confidence boosting jewelry that helps women feel beautiful and empowered without breaking the bank. From there, I expanded into the travel industry and launched TWinz Journey & Travel, where I specialize in planning couples getaways, honeymoons, group travel, and curated experiences that allow people to step away from stress and reconnect with life.
So in many ways, my businesses may look different on the surface, but they are deeply connected at the core.
Everything I do centers around transformation.
In mental health, I help people heal internally.
With TwinzBling, I help women feel confident externally.
With travel, I help people escape, reset, and experience joy again.
The problems I solve are real life problems. People feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, burned out, or simply needing an outlet, support system, or a moment to breathe. I meet people where they are and help them move forward in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
What sets me apart is that I do not operate from theory alone. I operate from lived experience. I have walked through grief. I have rebuilt after loss. I have balanced motherhood, multiple careers, school, and entrepreneurship all at once. So when I speak, serve, or create, it comes from a place of authenticity, not just knowledge.
I am most proud of who I have become in the process. Not just the titles or the businesses, but the strength, discipline, and faith it took to keep going when life did not look like I planned.
I want people to know that my brand is not just about business. It is about purpose. It is about healing. It is about growth. It is about giving people permission to start where they are and still build something meaningful.
Whether someone is working with me in mental health, shopping with TwinzBling, or booking a trip through TWinz Journey & Travel, my goal is the same.
To help them feel better, live better, and experience more out of life.
And to remind them that even after life’s hardest moments, there is still so much more waiting for them.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the most defining moments of my resilience came during a season where everything in my life seemed to shift at once.
After spending over 20 years in the medical field, I was involved in a car accident that ended that chapter of my career. At the same time, I was navigating deep personal grief, going through a long and emotionally draining divorce, and trying to show up as a present mother. Life as I knew it completely changed.
There was a moment where I had to sit with the reality that everything I had built, everything that felt stable, was no longer there in the same way. I had every reason to feel stuck, discouraged, or even give up.
But instead, I made a decision.
I decided that even if I had to start over, I was going to rebuild my life with intention.
I went back to school to pursue my real estate license, which has come with its own challenges, especially preparing for and taking the exam. At the same time, I stepped into the mental health field, not just from education but from lived experience. I also started my businesses while still working, raising my child, and trying to find my footing again.
There were days I was exhausted, uncertain, and stretched thin, but I kept going.
Resilience for me was not about having it all together. It was about showing up anyway.
It looked like late nights doing schoolwork after long days. It looked like pushing through self doubt. It looked like choosing growth even when it was uncomfortable.
That season taught me that resilience is not about avoiding hard moments. It is about allowing those moments to shape you without breaking you.
Today, when I help others through trauma, grief, or rebuilding their lives, I do not just speak from knowledge. I speak from a place of understanding.
That experience did not just change my path. It refined my purpose.
And it showed me that even when life forces you to start over, you can still come back stronger, more aligned, and more intentional than before.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my audience on social media did not happen overnight, and it definitely did not start from a place of strategy. It started with me simply showing up as myself.
In the beginning, I was not focused on numbers. I was focused on sharing my journey. I posted about real life, my growth, my faith, my businesses, and the lessons I was learning along the way. I did not try to look perfect. I focused on being real.
That is what people connected to.
As I continued to show up consistently, I started to notice something. People were not just watching, they were engaging. They were messaging me, asking questions, sharing their own stories, and supporting my businesses. That is when I realized that social media is not just about posting, it is about building relationships.
One of the biggest ways I grew my audience was by being consistent even when I did not feel like it. There were times I was tired, busy, or going through things personally, but I still showed up. Not perfectly, but consistently.
Another key factor was clarity in my message. Even though I have multiple businesses, everything I post ties back to lifestyle, healing, growth, and elevation. So whether someone follows me for mental health, jewelry, or travel, they understand the heart behind my brand.
I also learned to engage, not just post. Responding to comments, replying to messages, supporting other people’s content, and being present made a huge difference. Social media is a two way connection, not a one way broadcast.
For anyone just starting, my biggest advice would be:
Start before you feel ready.
You do not need everything figured out to begin.
People connect with authenticity, not perfection.
Be consistent.
You do not have to post every minute, but you do have to show up regularly.
Focus on value, not just selling.
Teach something, share something, inspire something. When you give value, the support will come.
Do not compare your beginning to someone else’s middle.
Everyone’s journey looks different.
And most importantly, be yourself.
Your story, your voice, and your journey are what make you stand out. That is something no one else can duplicate.
At the end of the day, I did not build my audience by trying to go viral. I built it by being real, staying consistent, and allowing people to grow with me.
