We recently connected with Tracy Jackson and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tracy , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear the story of how you went from this being just an idea to making it into something real.
The idea to write a book began many years ago when I was in my early twenties. Even then, I felt that my life experiences had shaped a meaningful story worth sharing. I have always believed that everyone carries a story within them, and I hoped that by sharing mine, I might inspire others or help someone better understand the lessons that life can teach us.
I began writing as soon as I received my first computer. At that time, we were still saving documents on floppy disks, and I would spend quiet moments typing whenever I could. However, life soon became busy. As a new mother and a military wife, my responsibilities understandably took priority, and writing had to move to the background for a while.
Over the years, I continued journaling and occasionally revisiting my manuscript. Unfortunately, the original files saved on my floppy disk were eventually lost. Despite that setback, the desire to complete my book never left me. When I later received a newer computer, I began writing again, slowly rebuilding what had once been lost.
The turning point came years later when my daughter was grown. I shared with her my long-standing dream of finishing the book I had started so many years earlier. Her encouragement became the motivation I needed to truly commit to completing it. She expressed how eager she was to read my story, and that enthusiasm gave me renewed purpose.
Once the manuscript was complete, my daughter encouraged me to take the next step and pursue publication. She believed that the message within the book could inspire others and provide spiritual encouragement. That suggestion shifted my focus from simply writing the story to learning how to bring it into the world.
I began researching the publishing process and reached out to other authors for advice and insight. Through those conversations and my own research, I eventually connected with a publisher in my local area. Our partnership turned out to be a perfect fit. She guided me through every step of the publishing process—from preparing the manuscript to understanding the technical aspects of publication and launching the book.
Through that journey, I not only became a published author but was also encouraged to expand my work by launching a children’s book as well. What began as a personal dream to share my story ultimately evolved into a meaningful business and creative mission—one that allows me to inspire others through writing, faith, and storytelling.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am an entrepreneur, author, and advocate who is deeply committed to empowering individuals and strengthening communities through faith-centered encouragement, storytelling, and service. My work is driven by a passion for helping people rediscover hope, healing, and purpose, particularly in areas that impact personal identity, relationships, and emotional well-being. I strive to bring together spiritual insight, professional dedication, and a strong commitment to family and community wellness in everything I create.
As a published author, I have written four books that each serve a unique purpose for readers at different stages of life. My first release is a guided journal designed for individuals navigating the dating world after the age of thirty. It provides reflective prompts and thoughtful questions intended to help readers approach dating with greater clarity, intentionality, and purpose.
I also authored a children’s book titled That’s OK, God Made Me This Way!, which offers an encouraging message for young readers facing bullying or teasing. The story helps children embrace their individuality, reminding them that their uniqueness is something to be celebrated.
More recently, I released a deeply personal two-volume series titled This Love: A Love That Covers a Multitude of Sin. These books explore the complexities of love, faith, and forgiveness through honest reflection and emotional storytelling. They invite readers to consider what authentic love looks like even in the face of betrayal, hardship, and disappointment—and highlight the power of redemption and resilience.
What I hope readers understand about my work is that each book is written with great intention, reflection, and prayerful consideration. My writing is rooted in messages of hope, healing, spiritual wellness, and restoration. I believe what sets my work apart is that it is grounded in faith and divine grace, with the goal of encouraging others to grow, heal, and embrace the transformative power of their own journey.
What I am most proud of?
One of the accomplishments I am most proud of is becoming a published author. Writing and publishing my work allowed me to transform personal experiences into something meaningful that could inspire and encourage others. When someone reads one of my books, my hope is that they encounter a story that reflects resilience—one that moves through obstacles, heartbreak, and moments of devastation, and ultimately evolves into a message of strength, love, healing, and joy.
At the core of my work is the belief that our past does not define our future. Through my writing, I strive to help others rise above their challenges, rediscover their purpose, and move forward with confidence and renewed faith. My books are rooted in authenticity and are meant to remind readers that even the most difficult experiences can lead to growth, transformation, and a deeper sense of purpose.
Beyond writing, my broader mission is to ignite inspiration, empower individuals, and foster meaningful connections. Whether through storytelling, thoughtfully developed products, or curated experiences, my brand is centered on encouraging people to embrace their journey and recognize the power within their own story.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One experience that reflects my resilience during my journey as an author was the commitment I made to see my story through to completion. From the beginning, I felt a deep calling to share my testimony and bring my story to life in a way that could inspire others. My hope was that readers would find purpose, understanding, unwavering faith, and perseverance through the experiences I shared.
Writing the book required intentional discipline. I had to set aside dedicated time and create a consistent writing schedule in order to remain focused and make progress. Once the manuscript was complete, the process continued with careful editing and refinement. I also reached out to others for inspiration and guidance while researching the publishing process. Through persistence, learning, and faith, I eventually connected with a wonderful publisher, and what began as a vision ultimately became a reality. Seeing the book published was a powerful reminder that resilience, dedication, and purpose can transform a dream into something tangible that can impact others.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
In retrospect, I was uncertain about the most effective strategies to reach my target clients. This remains an ongoing learning process. Initially, I utilized traditional social media platforms. Additionally, I gained insights into various book fairs, festivals, and events in which I have participated. However, I must acknowledge that TikTok has proven to be an exceptionally inspiring platform. It has garnered significant attention to my work, resulting in the acquisition of new clientele and fostering global interest.
