We were lucky to catch up with Toom Chanda recently and have shared our conversation below.

Toom, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?

As an artist, I find immense joy in creating and expressing myself through my work. However, there are times when I wonder what it would be like to have a regular job with a steady income and routine. Despite this curiosity, I ultimately choose to pursue my passion as it brings me fulfillment and a sense of purpose that I believe cannot be found in a traditional job.

Toom, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am an actor and film producer with years of experience in the industry. I got into this business because of my passion for storytelling and bringing characters to life on screen. As a producer, I specialize in creating thought-provoking and entertaining content that resonates with audiences. My services include developing, financing, and producing films and television shows.

One of the main problems I solve for my clients is helping them bring their creative vision to life while staying within budget and delivering a high-quality product. I pride myself on being able to work collaboratively with writers, directors, and other creatives to ensure that the final product is something we can all be proud of.

What sets me apart from others in the industry is my attention to detail and my ability to think outside the box. I am always looking for new and innovative ways to tell stories and engage audiences.

I am most proud of the films and screenplay that I have produced that have had a positive impact on audiences. Whether it’s a film that inspires people to take action or a television show that brings families together, I am proud to be a part of creating content that has a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

For potential clients and fans, I want them to know that I am dedicated to creating content that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. I am always looking for new and exciting projects to work on, and I am committed to delivering the highest quality product possible.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I built my audience on social media as an actor, writer and producer by consistently posting high-quality content that resonated with my target audience. I engaged with my followers by responding to their comments and messages, and I collaborated with other creators to expand my reach. My advice for those just starting to build their social media presence is to find their niche, create a content strategy, and be authentic in their interactions with their audience.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

As an artist myself, I believe society can best support us by recognizing the value of creativity and investing in it accordingly. This means providing funding for arts programs and events, as well as offering affordable studio spaces and resources for artists to create and showcase their work. Additionally, promoting a culture of appreciation for the arts through education and public events can help to create a thriving creative ecosystem. Ultimately, it’s about recognizing that art and creativity are essential to a healthy and vibrant society, and taking steps to ensure that they are valued and supported.
