We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tomecca Millender a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Tomecca, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
As the reigning Ms.Georgia All World Beauties Elite, I’ve overcome many obstacles in my life; Financial hardships, divorce, fertility challenges, spiritual hurt, depression, and parental disregard. Creating the platform: Heels to Heal has given me the opportunity to share my story using my outgoing personality on reality TV, speaking engagements, my travels, authorship and my career as a Behavioral health professional. I’m more than comfortable with sharing the trials I’ve encountered. I aspire to empower those who want to tackle their goals and become the powerful beings they are destined to be.
“Women are powerful.” It took a long time for me to recognize my power. I have been through so many trials and tribulations that could have left me deprived and destitute but somehow I have found the strength to carry on. I have gone from walking timidly in my tennis shoes to dancing with intention in my stilettos.

My spunky personality has awarded me the opportunity to appear on Bravo’s Blind Date S1.ep134 and Film Engaged in Vegas 2020. Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, my goal is to build a safe haven for behavioral health patients transitioning from inpatient back to reality. I see so many patients being discharged with nowhere to go and I would like to provide that for them as they find a newer residence. I am very passionate about homelessness and mental health because I remember going through that once in my life. I’ve always strive for excellence in everything I do, some find being millionaires, instafamous has a goal, I just want to be influential. It’s a struggle when you have heart as big as mine, with limited financial resources and support. I work several jobs building a safe haven for myself, one day I will provide transitioning inpatient adolescents and Women to temporary outpatient housing.
