We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tiffany Grimm Fulton a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, thanks for joining us today. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
My parents were tough on me, in the best way. They didn’t let me do anything half ass. They taught me to respect others’ time, forge ahead even when things got tough, and get up every time I got knocked down. They shaped my character to expect nothing less than greatness from myself and everyone around me.
I remember at one of my early basketball games in 7th grade. My coach was (rightfully) yelling at me to get back on defense and was extremely upset at the way I played (because he knew I could do better.) My parents stomped right up to him at the end of the game and looked him in the eye. Of course he thought they were going to rip him apart for yelling at me, but instead they said, “Thank you, Coach! She needs you to push her and kick her in the butt sometimes!”
At the time, I felt like the world was against me. But now looking back, I realize I had people who believed that I could do better. They believed in my potential and wouldn’t let me accept mediocrity. That has stuck with me throughout my whole life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My passion is to bridge the gap between science and wisdom, personal and professional pursuit, and potential and impact. I help individuals decondition the patterns that keep them stuck to create the lives they long for through 1-1 mentorships, group coaching, adventure quests, public speaking and leadership training.
I don’t follow a cookie cutter coaching solution. The methodology I use is rooted in wisdom traditions and backed by evidence-based science, personalized for each individual. Coaching with me means that you’ll have to look inside for the answers while I serve as a guide and a mirror for your magic to unfold.
My Legacy 1-1 mentorship program is the gold standard of what I offer. I love working with individuals long term as the shifts and improvements are more often long term and sustainable. Additionally, I just launched my new YouTube channel where I offer free coaching, strategies, and resources for personal development. Lastly, my book “Power in the Pause: Pocket Wisdom for Everyday Intentionality” hit #1 new release and #1 bestseller in three categories on Amazon a few weeks ago!

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Success, for me, is about alignment. You can have all the training and knowledge in the world, but if there’s a misalignment between your passion and what you’re actually doing, it will always fall flat. Alignment means you’re mentally awakened by your work, physically enlivened by your content or service, emotionally fulfilled at the end of the day, and spiritually moved to create the next offering. It’s a devotional practice. Success is a deep level of synergy that sparks when the neurons of your work fire and synapse together. It’s that hit of ecstasy that makes all the hard work worth while. It’s that moment when you both expand and settle in your own skin, and remember… YES, this is what I’m here for.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
100% I would choose the same profession. Honestly, I don’t think I really had a choice. It chose me from a very young age. I was the one who inspired others, looked for the magic in things, saw greatness where others saw nothing. My path is a destiny that continues to lead me to more refined levels of myself.
