Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiana Hyde. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Tiana, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
The first time I truly knew I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally was toward the end of my college career. I had been studying Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, and while I valued everything I was learning, something inside me kept questioning the traditional path of graduating and immediately working for someone else.
Around that time, I started reflecting on who I had always been at my core. Art had been a part of my life for as long as I could remember. It was never something I had to force or learn to love. Creating just felt natural to me. So as graduation approached in 2019, I had a moment of clarity. I realized that if I had the business knowledge and I already had the creative passion, why not build something of my own?
Instead of stepping straight into a corporate role, I decided to take a chance on myself. I formed my LLC (TIANALUXART) and began exploring what it would look like to turn my art into a business. It wasn’t just about making money from creativity. It was about building a life where I could wake up every day and do something that genuinely fulfilled me.
Looking back, that moment felt less like a sudden decision and more like accepting something that had always been true about me. I’ve always been an artist. Choosing to pursue it professionally was simply choosing to honor that part of myself and trust that following my passion could lead me somewhere meaningful.

Tiana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Tiana Hyde, and I’m the creative force behind TIANALUXART, a brand focused on turning art into memorable experiences. I specialize in interactive art events and parties, where participants of all skill levels can engage with painting, creativity, and self-expression in a relaxed and fun environment. From birthdays and celebrations to team-building activities, my work is designed to make creativity accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Through my events, I help people overcome creative intimidation, reconnect with their imagination, and leave feeling proud of what they’ve made. What sets my work apart is the intentional combination of artistry and experience design, it’s not just about the final piece, it’s about the process, the community, and the memories created along the way.
I’m most proud of building a brand that empowers people to explore their creativity without judgment and encourages them to embrace their artistic side. What I want clients, followers, and collaborators to know is that TIANALUXART is about joy, connection, and self-expression. It’s a space where creativity becomes an experience and every participant leaves inspired.

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
I believe society can best support artists and creatives by valuing their work not just as entertainment or decoration, but as essential contributions to culture, wellbeing, and community. For creatives like me, having the freedom to explore ideas, experiment, and take risks is crucial, so creating environments that encourage creative entrepreneurship and provide accessible resources like grants, affordable studio spaces, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities, can make a huge difference.
Another important way to support a thriving creative ecosystem is to normalize investing in experiences and creativity, whether that’s attending interactive art events, commissioning custom work, or supporting local artists. The more people see creative work as meaningful and worthy of investment, the more sustainable it becomes for artists to pursue their passions full-time.
Lastly, society should celebrate creativity in all its forms, not just in traditionally “commercial” ways. This includes recognizing the therapeutic, educational, and community-building power of art. For me, helping people reconnect with their own creativity through interactive art experiences shows just how transformative the arts can be, so any support that allows artists to continue fostering connection, joy, and self-expression is invaluable.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist is seeing the way creativity actually impacts people. It’s not just about making a painting or hosting an event, it’s those moments when someone realizes they can create, they can express themselves, and they leave feeling proud of what they made.
I love helping people reconnect with their own creativity, especially when they think they’re “not artistic.” When I host a paint party or guide someone through a project and see their confidence grow, or watch them genuinely light up, that’s what makes it all worth it.
Being a creative also gives me the chance to turn my passion into real connections with people. I get to share my vision, inspire curiosity, and create spaces where creativity is celebrated. That sense of purpose, knowing my work brings people together, sparks imagination, and leaves people with memories they’ll actually remember…that’s what makes being an artist so rewarding for me.
