We recently connected with Thomas Cordasco and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Thomas thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s something crazy on unexpected that’s happened to you or your business
The craziest experience I’ve had in real estate was when I was representing a buyer in a negotiation that initially seemed impossible. The sellers were being incredibly stubborn, refusing to budge on price despite my buyers’ reasonable offers. I knew there had to be more going on behind the scenes, so I put on my detective hat and started digging.
I researched the sellers extensively—beyond what most agents would typically do. What I uncovered was jaw-dropping. Not only were they on the brink of foreclosure, but they were also entangled in one of the biggest Medicare fraud scandals in South Florida. This was not your everyday real estate transaction—these were people dealing with immense legal and financial troubles.
Armed with this information, I approached the negotiations with a new strategy. I knew they couldn’t afford to let this deal fall through, so I leveraged that knowledge to secure an amazing price for my buyers. It was a win for my clients, but it was also a surreal and somewhat intense situation to navigate.
The emotions throughout this process were a rollercoaster. At first, there was frustration with the sellers’ inflexibility. Then came the adrenaline of uncovering their backstory, followed by the thrill of using that intel to advocate for my clients. It felt like I was stepping into a real-life drama—equal parts exhilarating and surreal.
Looking back, it was a reminder of how unpredictable this business can be and how resourcefulness and persistence can turn even the toughest situations into victories.

Thomas, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My journey began with a pivotal moment in my life when I realized I wanted to achieve more for my family and create a lasting impact. After being laid off during COVID, I decided to transform my mindset, eliminate my vices, and pursue a career that aligned with my passion for helping others. Today, I’m a personal development coach and fitness professional, dedicated to guiding others to become the best version of themselves—for their families and for themselves.
I specialize in helping others not only get into the best physical shape of their lives but also transform their mindset through discipline, daily non-negotiables, and healthy habits. By focusing on fitness, nutrition, and mental resilience, I help my clients overcome obstacles, build confidence, and develop a sustainable lifestyle.
What sets me apart is my commitment to leading by example. I was recognized as a “Local Legend” by the Miami Dolphins for my work coaching youth sports and giving back to my community, which reflects my dedication to uplifting others. My journey as a former college quarterback, a father, and a coach has taught me the importance of leadership, resilience, and a strong work ethic—values I bring to my coaching.
I’m most proud of the transformations I’ve witnessed in my clients—not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Seeing my clients reclaim their health, confidence, and purpose inspires me every day.
For anyone looking to make a meaningful change in their life, I want you to know that my work is about more than fitness—it’s about creating a mindset and lifestyle that empowers you to show up as your best self, both for yourself and the people who matter most.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I’m still building my audience on social media, but what I’ve learned so far is that the key is to be your authentic self and not worry about what others think. People connect with honesty, vulnerability, and realness, so just show up as you are.
One thing that’s helped me is documenting my daily routine and life. Whether it’s my workouts, time with my family, or the discipline and habits I practice every day, I focus on sharing my journey in a way that inspires others. Consistency is huge—showing up every day, even when it feels like no one is watching, is what builds trust and connection over time.
For anyone just starting out, my advice is simple: stay true to who you are, share your story unapologetically, and focus on adding value to your audience. Don’t worry about perfection; people want to see the real you, not a curated highlight reel. The more consistent and authentic you are, the more your audience will grow organically.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
A defining moment in my journey of resilience came when I broke and dislocated my ankle. It was a devastating injury, both physically and mentally, but giving up was never an option for me. The recovery process was grueling, filled with pain and setbacks, but it taught me the value of perseverance and discipline. I stayed focused, committed to my rehab, and eventually came back stronger—not just physically but mentally as well.
That experience shaped how I approach challenges in life. Whether it’s in fitness, business, or personal growth, I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about avoiding difficulties—it’s about facing them head-on, refusing to quit, and finding strength in the struggle.
I carry this mindset into everything I do, especially in my work helping fathers transform their lives. I understand what it feels like to hit rock bottom, but I also know what it takes to rise above it. My message is simple: no matter how tough things get, you always have the power to push through and come out stronger on the other side. That belief drives me every day to inspire and guide others to achieve their own transformations.
