We caught up with the brilliant and insightful The Theos a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, The Theos thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
As a band, we hold onto the risk of being mocked, laughed at if a show goes bad or if a song we release isn’t received well. Were aware of the embarrassment it has the power to apply to us, but we love the craft, we strive for the fun, and we live for the music.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
The Theos, us, have no genre, we claim no boundary in our work for we create music in many genres. Whether you enjoy indie rock, hard rock, punk rock, etc, we do it. “The Theos” is a genre in and of itself, one of which claims no boundaries in art. We The Theos are all friends who so happen to share the love and passion for music. Our work is all original, stemming from fellow music industry companions such as Reggie “King” Sears, who recorded with us in the studio while working on our song “Entranced Delusion”. We take our work seriously, but we have fun with it always, making sure that we communicate the best we can to avoid any disagreements along the road.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For us, the most rewarding aspect of being a band is being able to spend time together doing what we love and gain life long knowledge from it. Theres millions of friends who hang out in groups and have fun, but theres also groups who hang out, have fun, and gain as a result of their own commitments to their passions and talents together.

Have you ever had to pivot?
At a point, we were booking show after show, releasing monthly, and gaining popularity, but the school season began once more, and our priorities were set on our education, therefore hindering our commitment to fully dive into all there is to do with the brand.
