Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tarah Williams. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tarah, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Our Mission at Stalk Your Destiny is to get people to realize what their true purpose in life is and to give them tools to go step by step into their destiny so that they may live life of abundance and fulfillment. The story behind this has levels to it. Finding your true purpose has to do with being in tune with self. You must know who you are. This is the Identity piece. The journey to finding yourself must align with your beliefs. So, for those of us at Stalk Your Destiny, this has to do with knowing your Identity in Christ.

Once that is figured out and nurtured, proper tools can be given to help our clients create a Roadmap to Success. This is the Direction piece. Being real about where you are in your life at a current time helps you to be able to know what steps to take to go forward toward your destiny. Most people may not know what they are destined to do but through thought-provoking questions they may find that they always knew.

Identity, Direction, and Accountability are all embedded in our mission because when I created this company I was in need. I had lost my identity. I didn’t know where I was in my life nor why I was there. I also didn’t have support along the way to get to the next level, so I had to hold myself accountable to not give up! I became a Stalker of My Destiny and wanted to help others become one too! Our goals seem to be the very things we give up on first, when in fact, we should go after it relentlessly.

Tarah, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I currently host a show on YouTube called “Tea Time with Tarah” where the motto is “You Have a Voice and it Needs to be Heard”. I am a mother of 3 sons. We were featured on NinePBS Living St. Louis Special which was nominated for an EMMY in 2022 and WON in 2023. I am an intense yet loving coach who wants to see people from all walks of life succeed at reaching their destiny. I am a woman who sincerely loves to help and seeks to change the world one human interaction at a time. And I love, love, love Comedy and laughter!

What got me started as a coach was the fact that I needed a coach. So, when I started searching for me, I was able to design strategies that I could also share with others along the way. What I learned most during this time was that “Everything You Want to Become, You Already Are.” I had everything I needed to succeed. I simply needed to believe in me and accept who I am. I got my start by offering 1 on 1 coaching.

Over the years I have published various books which include an interactive devotional series called, “Earthly Branches,” a fictional novel called, “This Love, His LOVE,” a book titled “PERMEATE: Rants and Lessons on Life and Love,” a book called, “Until & Then Again: Chronicles of a Narcissist’s Wife,” and my book “ABC’s to Stalk Your Destiny,” which is also interactive.
I have a line of planners and accountability tools as well as a daily devotional book and journals for Affirmations and Venting.

Services I provide range from Leadership in Business, Leadership in the Classroom for Staff and/or Students, Membership to Stalk Your Destiny Academy for people interested in Personal Development and Accountability, and VIP Sessions for 1 on 1 deep work for Business and Personal Development as well as gaining clarity or support for Navigating Mental Health and Overcoming Obstacles in life and business.

The problem most clients have when they reach out to me is being overwhelmed and all over the place. I allow them space to do what I call a Mind Purge. They pour out everything on their mind and I put it in proper place for them. By this, I mean, I can simplify their issues and determine with them what is priority as well as what needs to be removed from their plate altogether. This allows them to breathe easier as well as see the goal with more optimism. By assisting them in this process I enable them to gain clarity and take a load off. We then create a way forward that works for them in their current life and situations and at a pace that helps them feel free and encouraged.

With leadership, I take the students with seemingly the most issues or least interest and show other students that anybody can become a great leader. By doing that I am able to instill in the students that they all matter, and they can all make a small change and have a big impact. I challenge them to do their best and show them that if they continue to try, they should be proud of themselves and treat one another with respect so they may also receive respect.

I am most proud that I am a Stalker of my Destiny and Stalkers Don’t Quit! Life happens but dreams do come true!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

After being in business for almost 9 years, I have overcome many things that illustrate my resilience. I began my business in 2015. I got divorced in 2017. I was homeless and house hopping from 2018 to 2020. Every conference I planned either got canceled or had very low attendance which caused me to lose money and confidence each time. While thriving in the public eye in 2023, I was crashing behind the scenes. I could have given up so many times, and I entertained the idea, but giving up on my company would mean giving up on who I am and my life’s purpose. I need me as much as the people whose lives I am changing. And my sons need to see that dedication doesn’t always mean success up front, it means commitment to the journey whether good or bad; to fight for what you believe to the end.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Owning Who I AM! I was able to build my reputation by being true to myself. I never portrayed someone I was not. I have a reputation for being Transparent and Authentic. Even in my tough times, I was still Tarah M. Williams. I shared my journey to motivate others in theirs.

I held true to my brand. My focus is Identity, Direction, and Accountability. I never set out to make it prettier than the hard work that it is. The goal is always to help others. I used my wisdom and experience to relate to others. That’s just me being me; a helper.

I am always networking and once I meet you and connect once, I tend to treat you as though you are someone I already love. Love is the Key. I lead a life of love and it shows in every aspect of who I am and all I produce in this world. Can’t fake genuine love. It’s my superpower.
