However, my experience taught me that when key elements align, accelerated timelines can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
The key lies in understanding what truly matters in a partnership. I realized that when two individuals share a foundational value system and envision a similar life trajectory, they have the essential ingredients for a lasting relationship.

Our three-week whirlwind turned into a three-month engagement, which then blossomed into a marriage that has become the cornerstone of my life. Today we celebrate 10 years of marriage and 4 kids together. This experience reinforced a crucial lesson: when your heart and mind align, and when you’ve done the work to understand your needs and values, taking a leap of faith can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
This approach to risk-taking – being clear about what’s important, aligning on core values, and moving forward with confidence when these elements are in place – has served me well beyond my personal life. On paper, the logical choice seemed clear. I had invested significant time and resources into my legal career, and continuing down that path offered a sense of security and familiarity. But transitioning from an established legal career to starting my own coaching business? That felt like jumping off a cliff without a parachute.
