We were lucky to catch up with Svetlana Terzeman recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Svetlana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Hello!
My mission is to find myself in a better place and be able to help others. I am immigrant here from Russia. I am still working on adapting here. Like all you know my country has been starting the war. I believe my mission is not giving up and I’m going to show my people that we can live together in peace.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My brand is my name. I’m working on myself right now to be more honest with myself, to be more open and share things and my experience with others. I am trying to make posts on Instagram. I’d prefer to write more mindfulness (significant) posts about life here. I love taking pictures and videos and sharing with people. I’d like to get certification here in IT field and work remotely. I would travel more. I would travel with my family and see them often.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I already went through a lot of stuff here. It was bad marriage, immigration is very complicated. I don’t have a lot of support. I have friend who supports me like it’s possible. I really appreciate it. How am I holding up? It’s very good question. I’m in therapy now. I am assuming this was good decision for me because I was needing to find reliance on my own.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I have never listened to myself. What do I really want? Like doing for living for example.
It was always someone decisions like family, friends.
I guess this is my journey.
