Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Steve Rozenberg. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Steve, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you tell us a story about a time you failed?
In Short, since I can remember I wanted to an airline pilot and I did everything in my power to achive that. I became the youngest piolt to be hired by a Commercial airline. I was flying high! Literally and thought my whole future and life was made!
After the Twin Towers Tragedy on 9/11, I became furloughed and realized my save and secure job was not even close to that.
I had to figure out how to take care of my wife and son and our future. I was able to invest in real Estate and then created, along with my business partner the fastest growing Property Manangement Company in Texas. Due to our amazing Processes and Procedures, we were able to sell at over 7 digits to a VC.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

This might not be exactly business related, but it ties in.
My son, Jett Rozenberg. Passed away in March 2023, in a tragic traffic accident on his bike.. As you can imagine this has been the most difficult year of my life.
I had al ready lost my father, my brother and some close friends and family, but this unthinkable tragedy has left me reconsidering many of my life decisions and ESPECIALLY my WHY.
From the moment I knew my son was coming into our lives he became my why, along with my wife. and almost 20 years later (He passed at 19 YO) I have struggled a lot to figure out my Why again. I know now it’s my wife and me again. But coming to terms with the fact that he is longer here to enjoy the fruits of my work with him hits hard!
Ultimately, I might not be as resilient as I´d like. I have come to terms with the fact that I have to continue moving forward.
Conversations about M&A are often focused on multibillion dollar transactions – but M&A can be an important part of a small or medium business owner’s journey. We’d love to hear about your experience with selling businesses.
We sold our PM Compnay to VC. It was a long process and I am very greatful that we had all the processes and procedures documented
