Starr, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?

The world has certainly changed in the last two years. When the Covid-19 pandemic first hit. It had a major impact on the Event Industry. I didn’t know how events or event management was going to change!

Now that I know some of what to expect in a pandemic, I’m moving forward and looking toward a new year. It’s definitely no surprise that event’s look different.

The Biggest Trends In The Event Industry Are: More Hybrid & Virtual Events, Social Distancing with the Guests, Health Screening Areas, Covid Cover Guarantee, and Micro Events.

My love and passion for event planning started at a young early age, but I never knew it would be my job of a life time.

Prior to starting her my own business, I worked for StateFarm Insurance Company.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for me has been event service booking platforms. Being a top rated vendor on these sites allow me to be more visible for potential clients looking for event services.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The event industry is innovative and many event guests and clientele want to be wowed!!! The most effective strategy for growing my clientele is split into two parts The first part is getting ahead of trends to anticipate what customers want to see.
Whether that’s planning an intimate private wedding in an unconventional manner or anticipating technology trends for upcoming corporate meetings you have to give clients something they haven’t seen before and wow them.

The second part includes providing excellent customer service. This creates loyal customers for life who are willing to refer your business to friends, family, and colleagues.
