We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sonya Ceasar a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Sonya, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I learned how to do pageants, modeling, and helping the homeless from the people around me who taught me and inspired me. Me and my sister Jayla were introduced to the pageant world by the current Miss Georgia 2025 Audrey Kittila. She has been an amazing mentor to us and helped teach us how to be confident, kind, and work hard. Because of her mentoring, my sister and I were able to become Little Miss of America 2025 and Little Miss of Georgia 2026.
When it comes to modeling, my mom helped teach us a lot because she used to be a model for many years and even taught modeling. She showed us how to walk, pose, and believe in ourselves.
Our dad is also an entertainer with an acting background and he is an entrepreneur too. He helps teach us how to speak in front of people, be confident, and follow our dreams.
All of them help us learn how to use our talents not just for pageants and modeling, but also to give back and help the homeless, which is something that is really important to our family.

Sonya, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Sonya Ceasar and Jayla Ceasar, we are known as The Ceasar Sisters, and are young leaders who use pageantry as a platform to inspire others and give back to their community. Through hard work, dedication, and mentorship, we have earned national and state recognition, with me (Sonya) being crowned Little Miss of America 2025 and both sisters holding the title of Little Miss of Georgia 2026.
Raised in a family that values confidence, leadership, and service, the Ceasar Sisters developed their love for modeling, public speaking, and entrepreneurship at an early age. With our mother’s background in modeling and our father’s experience in entertainment and business, we learned how to use our talents to uplift others.
Beyond the stage, man and my sister Jayla is also the founders of The Ceasar Sisters Hope & Healing Foundation, where we focus on helping the homeless and empowering youth through pageantry, kindness, and community service. Our mission is simple: to show that even young voices can make a powerful difference in the world.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding part of being pageant queens and nonprofit owners is being able to help other people and make them smile. We love using our crowns for something bigger than just winning titles. It makes us really happy when we can help the homeless, give back to our community, and encourage other kids to believe in themselves.
Pageants have also helped us become more confident and brave when speaking in front of people. We like showing other kids that even if you are young, you can still make a big difference. Being able to inspire others while helping people in need is the best part for us.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One time we had to be really resilient was when we worked during New York Fashion Week. It was very cold outside, but we still had to keep going because we were walking in the show for Mike Chase’s Sunchasers Sunglasses brand in production with Charjean Contour and Lux Style Fashion Week.
Even though it was really cold, we still had to do interviews, take pictures, and film parts for two different documentaries. Sometimes we were tired and cold, but we kept smiling and doing our best.
That experience taught us that being resilient means not giving up even when things are hard. We support each other as sisters and remember that we are doing it to inspire other kids and make our family proud.
