Hi Snoop , thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

In high school, my involvement in playing the keyboard for various groups marked a pivotal period in my life. Beyond the music, it was a time when I started building connections and envisioning a future career. My mother, Patricia Robinson, a single parent, made significant sacrifices to provide my brother, Jason Robinson, and me with exposure to the arts. Attending live performances and stages became a source of inspiration for me to delve into theater, eventually sparking a passion for acting. Witnessing the transformative power of the arts and the dedication my mother showed in nurturing our artistic interests instilled in me a deep appreciation for the impact of creativity and a drive to pursue a career in the field.

Snoop Robinson, a multifaceted talent hailing from Dallas, Texas, has emerged as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, showcasing his skills as a director, creator of short films, actor, producer, and musician. His unwavering work ethic and dedication to his craft have garnered the respect of industry veterans, leading to collaborations on numerous projects. Snoop’s versatility is evident in his ability to excel in both comedic and dramatic roles, allowing him to introduce innovative concepts, craft scripts, and design captivating stage settings.

Throughout his illustrious career, Snoop has received numerous accolades for his film projects, including “Her Eyes,” “Love and Drugs,” and “Unexceptional Love.” His stage plays, such as “Why Women Trip,” “Who Are We to Judge,” and “Frenemies,” have further solidified his standing in the industry. Beyond his entertainment endeavors, Snoop Robinson has shown his commitment to community engagement through initiatives like the Freddy Haynes “Unscripted” Radio show and his televised talk show, “The Truth Hurts.” As a musician, Snoop played a role in opening for music icon Prince and launched his educational CD, “Yearning 2 Learn,” blending English and Spanish through various music genres.

With a rich background that includes the opportunity to work with industry legends like Chuck Norris, Kirk Franklin, and Jesse Jackson, Snoop Robinson continues to make significant strides. As the founder of SRG Entertainment Group LLC, he is actively involved in shooting new projects, solidifying his place among the greats in the entertainment industry.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Engaging in my chosen endeavors brings me tremendous satisfaction, particularly in the opportunity it affords me to provide others with a chance to showcase their talents to the world. The most rewarding aspect of my work is the ability to open doors for individuals, allowing them to step into new opportunities and share their skills on a broader stage. Guiding others and showing them the way is a source of genuine fulfillment. I take great joy in facilitating pathways for people to not only pursue their passions but also to flourish and make meaningful contributions. The journey of creating opportunities for others is a central and gratifying aspect of my professional and personal pursuits.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

This year, my primary objective is to elevate SRG Entertainment Group LLC to new heights by producing timeless films that resonate with audiences worldwide. I am dedicated to creating a lasting impact through our cinematic endeavors, aiming to craft stories that will be cherished for generations to come. The ongoing partnership with Swirl Films is a key component of this vision, as we work together to build a catalog of exceptional movies. Collaborating with Swirl Films allows us to pool our creative resources and expertise, ensuring that the films we produce are not only memorable but also have a lasting influence in the world of entertainment. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to a collection of remarkable movies and leaving a lasting legacy in the film industry.
