Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sintia Olaiya. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Sintia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you walk us through some of the key steps that allowed you move beyond an idea and actually launch?
Starting Lovewotai didn’t begin with a formal business plan or a perfectly mapped-out strategy. It began with something much more personal, the need for a safe space to simply be honest with myself. For a long time, I felt like I needed somewhere to vent freely, somewhere I could express my thoughts and feelings without judgment, without feeling like I had to shrink parts of myself to make others comfortable. I wanted a space where deep conversations, unity, and healing could exist. And at some point, a realization hit me, if I was yearning for a space like that, how many other people were longing for the same thing? That thought was the seed that eventually grew into Lovewotai. Instead of waiting until everything was perfect, I started with what I could create in that exact moment. For me, that was Instagram. It was the simplest way to begin sharing my thoughts, writing, and reflections with others. But before I could even start posting, I needed a name, something that truly represented the heart of what I wanted to build. That’s where Lovewotai was born. The name is deeply personal to me. Growing up, my family would call me by a childhood name, Taiwo, which means firstborn of twins. I carried that name with me, and when creating my brand, I wanted to incorporate it in a way that honored my past while also creating something new. I also reflected on my childhood and realized that there were times when I didn’t always feel like I could fully express how I felt. That’s simply how many of us are raised, we learn to hold things in rather than voice them. So naming my business Lovewotai felt like giving that younger version of myself a voice. It felt like allowing that childhood version of me the opportunity to finally express her needs, her emotions, and her truth and to heal in the process. After breaking up the name Tai-Wo, I decided to switch the two syllables to create something that more accurately represents the heart behind my work. For me, it symbolizes the act of pouring my heart and thoughts inside out, allowing what’s within me to be expressed openly and honestly through my creativity. That shift in the name reflects a deeper part of my journey as an artist. My work has always been about vulnerability, reflection, and connection. By rearranging the syllables, it became a representation of the process I go through when I create: taking what lives within my heart, my faith, and my experiences, and turning it outward so others can see, feel, and hopefully relate to it. It’s a reminder that creativity is not just about making something beautiful, it’s about being willing to open yourself up. When I create, I’m sharing pieces of my thoughts, emotions, and personal growth. In many ways, it’s like turning my inner world inside out so that others can find comfort, inspiration, or even healing in it. That meaning is what continues to guide me. Everything I create comes from a place of authenticity, faith, and a genuine desire to connect with people on a deeper level. By pouring my heart and thoughts into my work, I hope others feel encouraged to embrace their own stories, their own beauty, and their own journey. The word “Love” in Lovewotai also holds a deeper meaning. For me, it stands for “Living On Valued Energy.” It represents the idea of creating a space where people feel valued and where everyone within the community values one another in return. That principle became the heart of everything I wanted to build. Once I started on Instagram, things slowly began to grow. I realized that not everyone uses the same platforms, and if I truly wanted to reach people who might need this space, I had to meet them where they were. So I expanded to Facebook, then Twitter, creating multiple channels where people could come across the messages and reflections I was sharing. At first, many of my posts were quotes or poems I had written. Writing has always been a way for me to process emotions and express thoughts that are sometimes difficult to say out loud. But over time, I realized that sometimes a short quote only scratches the surface of what I was really trying to express. That realization led me to the next step: creating my website and blog. My website became a deeper extension of what I was already sharing on social media. While my quotes might introduce an idea or emotion, my blog posts allowed me to expand on those thoughts exploring the feelings, lessons, and reflections behind them. It became a place where readers could truly step into my mind and understand the experiences and perspectives that shaped the words I was sharing. But I didn’t want it to just be about my voice. I wanted it to be a community. So I began creating ways to interact more intentionally with the people who followed along on this journey, what I lovingly call my “Loves.” I started asking questions that encouraged people to think deeply, reflect, and share their own perspectives. I wanted people to have a space where they could express themselves openly and connect with others who might be on a similar healing journey. Consistency also became a key part of building the space. My goal was to post at least four times a week across my social platforms while also creating blog posts that expanded on those ideas for anyone who wanted to engage more deeply. It wasn’t always easy, but staying consistent helped nurture the community and keep the conversations flowing. What started as a personal outlet gradually grew into something much bigger than I originally imagined. Now, eight years later, Lovewotai continues to evolve. Recently, I took another step in expanding the brand by opening an Etsy shop. This new chapter allows my Loves to support my creative journey in a tangible way while also bringing pieces of the Lovewotai message into their everyday lives. Through the shop, I create and offer custom-designed items such as art pieces, clothing, jewelry, and other creative products, with many more ideas to come in the future. Each piece is designed with the same intention that started everything: to inspire, uplift, and remind people of their worth.
Looking back, the journey from idea to execution wasn’t one giant leap, it was a series of small, meaningful steps. It was choosing to start with what I had, where I was, and trusting that if the message came from a genuine place, the right people would eventually find it. And today, Lovewotai continues to grow as a space built on connection, healing, creativity, and most importantly, valuing one another.

Sintia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who may be discovering me for the first time, my name is Lovewotai, and I’m a blogger, store owner, influencer, and creative who is passionate about building meaningful connections and inspiring others. Through my brand, Lovewotai, I blend my love for creativity, innovation, and community to craft experiences and content that uplift, encourage, and bring people together. Whether it’s through my writing, the products I create, or the messages I share online, everything I do centers around creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.
My journey into this work actually began when I was a junior in high school. At the time, I remember feeling incredibly overwhelmed, anxious, and uncertain about life. Looking back now, I can smile a little at the thought of how stressed could a 17-year-old really be? But at that moment, the pressure felt very real. I was trying to get into my dream college, navigating complicated friendships, and attempting to figure out who I truly was as a person. Like many people do during seasons of uncertainty, I searched everywhere for answers, through other people, through advice, and through outside validation, only to eventually realize that the answers I was seeking had been within me all along.
That realization came through my faith. Through prayer and reading the Bible, I found clarity, peace, and a deeper understanding of myself and my purpose. It was a turning point in my life. My faith reminded me that even in moments of confusion or self-doubt, there is always guidance, strength, and light available to us. That experience opened my eyes to the power of faith and self-discovery, and it planted the seed for what would eventually become Lovewotai.
From that moment on, I felt called to share my journey with others, especially people who might feel lost, overwhelmed, or stuck in their own thoughts the way I once did. What began as personal reflection slowly grew into a platform where I could encourage others through storytelling, inspiration, and creativity. My mission is simple but deeply meaningful to me: to share the word of God and encourage others to discover their own light, just as I discovered mine.
Through my blog, creative work, and store, I focus on creating content and products that inspire reflection, positivity, and personal growth. I want people to walk away from my platform feeling lighter, more hopeful, and more confident in their own journey. In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, my goal is to offer a reminder that you are not alone, your story matters, and there is always purpose in the path you’re walking.
What truly sets my work apart is the heart behind it. Everything I share comes from a place of authenticity and lived experience. I’m not trying to present a perfect life, I’m sharing the real moments, the lessons learned, and the faith that carried me through uncertainty. I believe people connect most with honesty, and that’s something I try to bring into every piece of content I create.
What I’m most proud of is being able to turn my personal journey into something that helps others. The thought that even one piece of advice, one message, or one story I share could brighten someone’s day or help them see their situation differently, means everything to me. That possibility fuels my passion and purpose every single day.
At the heart of it all, Lovewotai is more than a brand, it’s a community and a safe space. I want potential clients, followers, and readers to know that my platform was created with love, faith, and intention. My hope is that when people encounter my work, they feel encouraged to grow, to believe in themselves, and to recognize the light that already exists within them.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My creative journey has always been guided by a very clear mission: to build something bigger than myself, a global company where people from all over the world can come together and feel safe being exactly who they are. At the heart of everything I create is the desire to offer a space where people feel seen, heard, and welcomed. I want Lovewotai to be a place where individuality is celebrated, where people can enjoy one-of-a-kind pieces, share their stories, and build genuine connections with others who may be on similar journeys.
While blogging has been a beautiful foundation for me, I don’t see it as the final destination. It’s only the beginning. One of my dreams is to eventually host my own podcast, where the words I write and the ideas I share can come to life in real time. I envision meaningful conversations with guest speakers who can openly discuss topics that truly matter—mental health, beauty, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and so much more. I want it to feel like an extension of the safe space I’m already creating, where listeners feel encouraged, uplifted, and inspired simply by being part of the conversation.
I truly believe that Lovewotai will grow into a multifaceted company that serves its community in many different ways. My vision is for it to expand across multiple sectors and industries, becoming one of the most influential and expansive brands that people recognize and trust. More importantly, I hope it builds a loyal and supportive community, people who not only connect with the brand, but also with one another.
A big part of that vision is creativity. Through Lovewotai, I’m able to express my artistic side by designing custom-made items that reflect individuality and personal style. These pieces are more than just products; they’re small expressions of creativity and identity. They allow people to own something unique while also feeling connected to the message behind the brand. These creations are available through my Etsy shop, where I’m currently focused on building a diverse and thoughtful inventory.
Right now, I’m working on expanding that collection to include e-books, custom flyers for services, shirts, jewelry, and many other creative pieces. Every item I create is made with intention and care. I want each product to reflect the values that Lovewotai stands for, authenticity, creativity, and connection.
Ultimately, my goal isn’t just to grow a business. It’s to build a community-driven brand that uplifts people, sparks creativity, and reminds individuals that they deserve spaces where they can show up fully as themselves. If Lovewotai can inspire even a small number of people to feel more confident, more connected, and more empowered in their own lives, then I know I’m moving in the right direction.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist and creative is witnessing the real, visible impact my work can have on others. There is something incredibly special about knowing that through my craft, I’m able to reach people in a meaningful way, sometimes in moments when they may need encouragement, healing, or simply a reminder that they are seen and valued.
A big part of my creative journey is rooted in faith. Being able to speak through my work in a way that brings people closer to Christ is something I consider a true blessing. My hope is that when people encounter what I create, whether it’s writing, art, or the spaces I build, that they feel inspired and reminded that beauty exists in all forms. Beauty isn’t limited to one look, one background, or one story. It shines through all shapes, colors, and sizes, and that message is something I’m passionate about sharing.
What’s also beautiful about this journey is that it’s not just about helping others, it’s also about continuing to grow and heal myself. Even to this day, I still respond to my own journal prompts and engage with the same reflective spaces I created for others. In many ways, the community and tools I built have become a source of healing and growth for me as well. It’s a reminder that creativity can be a safe place, not just for the people you hope to reach, but for yourself too.
At the end of the day, I’m simply grateful. Grateful that God blessed me with the gift of creativity and the idea to create spaces that can uplift and support others. Knowing that something I made can encourage someone, help them feel closer to God, or remind them of their worth makes every part of the journey worthwhile. That, to me, is the true reward of being an artist.
