We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sie Savage Chambers. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sie Savage below.
Sie Savage, appreciate you joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
I have to give credit to both of my parents for teaching me strength and resilience. Early on, I learned that life wasn’t going to be easy, and those lessons shaped me into who I am today. While I no longer have a relationship with my biological father, my mother has always been a constant source of love, guidance, and support. Her presence in my life has been unwavering, and I owe much of my perseverance and heart to her. She not only taught me how to be strong but also how to lead with compassion, and for that, I am forever grateful. Her husband, My Pops, embody so much love for one another, that gives me hope of what’s possible in my own life.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Sie Savage Chambers, also known as Tha Plant-Based Savage, and my life’s work is rooted in food, healing, and empowerment of marginalized communities and people of color. As a plant-based chef, holistic health coach, spoken word artist, and conflict coach, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people heal physically, emotionally, and mentally. For me, this isn’t just a career; it’s who I am. My journey has been shaped by my own lived experiences, and I use every skill I’ve gained to support individuals in becoming the best version of themselves. I strongly belive its not about what happens to us, it’s what we do after the fact that defines who we are.
A Passion for Healing Through Food & Wellness
My work in plant-based living and holistic wellness is deeply personal. I founded HYER Wellness LLC (Heal Yourself, Expect Results) to help people take control of their health using a bio-individual approach because there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to well-being. I provide functional and integrative wellness coaching, gut health support, and holistic lifestyle strategies through my affiliation with Holistic Wellcare Advisors, offering supplements and wellness programs tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Food is at the heart of my healing philosophy. As a self-taught chef with over nine years of experience, I’ve been crafting plant-based, vegan meals for the past seven years. I’m passionate about making nutritious food accessible ”especially in marginalized communities, particularly Black, Queer, and Neurodivergent individuals. I use my platforms, including Atmosfy and my upcoming YouTube channel, in order to showcase plant-based eating, small businesses, and culinary collaborations with other chefs and creatives. Through cooking demos, meal planning, and wellness workshops, I teach people how to nourish themselves, heal their bodies, and embrace plant-based living on their own terms.
Spoken Word & Storytelling: Turning Pain into Power
Beyond food, my art is another way I connect and uplift. I’ve faced my share of hardships, and poetry has been both a refuge and a way to share my truth. I’m currently working on two writing projects:
“For Black Lover Boys Who Aren’t Afraid to Cry“ (3/2025) A poetry series exploring identity, love, and resilience.
“TPBS – Rhymes & Recipes” (Late 2025) A collection of my favorite plant-based recipes alongside personal spoken word reflections.
My experiences fuel my drive to create, whether through food, writing, or advocacy. I believe in vocalizing the struggles and triumphs that shape us because healing isn’t linear or just physical it’s also emotional and spiritual.
Conflict Coaching & Community Advocacy
Helping people resolve inner and outer conflicts is another major part of my work. Through conflict coaching, I guide individuals in navigating personal and identity-related challenges so they can reclaim their power and live authentically. My philosophy is simple: If I see a need and can fill it, why wouldnt I? I love helping people it’s who I am.
I also work as an Intervention Specialist/Life Coach at Youth ALIVE! in Oakland, supporting victims of violence in their recovery and growth. This role combines my passion for advocacy, trauma-informed coaching, and community healing, aligning with my broader mission of holistic well-being.
Expanding My Impact & Future Projects
In addition to coaching, cooking, and creating, I’ve recently expanded into wholesale distribution contracting with Rep Rally Inc., leveraging my entrepreneurial mindset to build new business opportunities.
My long-term vision includes owning farmland, creating sustainable food sources, and continuing to uplift communities through education, storytelling, and wellness.
I’m proud of the work I do because it’s more than a profession it’s a movement. Whether through food, coaching, poetry, or advocacy, my goal is to empower people to heal, grow, and thrive. You can connect with me for health coaching, catering, meal planning, or collaborations through my platforms. Let’s build, heal, and create together. It’s not just what I do, but truly who I am.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
The Strategic Millionaire by Armando Pantoja was great for life advice, financial literacy, and learning about investing and having the correct mindset. It was an eye opener and game changer for me and how I viewed the world especially with capitalism, commerce and trade. Shout out to the CNC Discord group.
The Four Agreements & Mastery of Self by Don Miguel Ruiz & Don Miguel Ruiz Jr is also highly recommended. It’s really shaped how I view the world and understanding that I am in control of my reality if I just remember those simple agreements in any circumstance its always resonated and made sense.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
A Story of Resilience: Rising Like a Phoenix
At this stage in my life, I’ve done many different things, been a lot of places, seen a lot of things and navigated countless intersections of experience. None of it has been by accident it’s the result of the many times I’ve had to pivot, transition, let go, or move on.
I’ve faced deep tragedy and loss within my family. I lost my home to a three alarm house fire. I’ve been married and divorced. Partnered and co-habitated, to losing everything and living out of a storage and my car for two years. I haven’t seen my father in over a decade, yet I talk to my mother almost daily. I’ve experienced heartbreak more times than I can count. Ive found love, and lost it. These are just the things that come to mind, but there have been countless letdowns, rejections, and so-called failures. Yet, every single one of those moments has led me here for better or worse. It’s apart of life I call opportunities. No matter what happens to you, It’s what you do after the fact that matters most.
I am only human. But through my struggles, I’ve gained an understanding that allows me to connect with others in a way I wouldn’t be able to otherwise. I firmly believe you can’t truly solve a problem you’ve never experienced yourself. The world is full of challenges, and through them, I’ve come to realize my purpose: I am a problem solver, and story teller.
Each hardship, each loss, each moment where I had to start over has given me the wisdom and empathy to guide others. I don’t claim to have it all figured out none of us do but every day, I show up, learn, grow, and do my best. And most importantly, I don’t let anyone else define that for me.
I’ve lost everything before not just once or twice, but multiple times. I’ve had to watch my life burn down, figuratively and literally, only to rise again. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about resilience, it’s this: I am still learning to just “BE” And that, in itself, is enough.
