We recently connected with Shweta Vasudeva and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Shweta thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I don’t think there was just one defining moment when I realized I wanted to pursue a creative path professionally, it was a feeling that had been a part of me since childhood. Ever since I was four years old, the stage felt like home. I started performing dance at a very young age, completely self-motivated and naturally drawn toward performing and expressing myself. Throughout my childhood, I participated in and won several dance competitions, and in school, I was always actively involved in elocution and public speaking competitions across different languages. Looking back, I realize the creative side was always inbuilt in me, it was never something I discovered later; it was simply who I was.
Even though I eventually pursued engineering and later moved to the U.S. as an immigrant, creativity never stopped calling me back. My journey in America began as a dance instructor, where I trained and mentored more than 500 students over six years. Teaching dance not only strengthened my artistry but also built my confidence as a performer and communicator. Over time, people in the industry started noticing my stage presence and encouraged me to explore acting, which led me into commercials, music videos, and modeling.
From there, event hosting naturally found its way into my life and there was truly no stopping after that. What started as a passion gradually transformed into a full-fledged career in entertainment. Today, I have hosted more than 500 shows across the U.S., including celebrity concerts, corporate events, cultural festivals, and fundraising galas. Every stage, every performance, and every audience interaction has shaped my journey and reinforced my belief that this is the path I was always meant to be on.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
am a performer, event host, and former choreographer and dance instructor, with a parallel professional background that keeps me grounded in structure and discipline while I continue building my creative journey in the entertainment industry. I also see myself evolving into the entrepreneurial space, expanding my work from performance into building experiences and creative ventures of my own.
Since the age of four, I have been deeply connected to dance and the stage. What began as a self-driven passion for performance quickly became a consistent part of my life through competitions, school performances, and elocution across multiple languages. Expression through movement and voice has always come instinctively to me.
In the U.S., I began my professional journey as a dance instructor and choreographer, where I trained and mentored over 500 students across six years. That phase shaped my foundation in a very real way. It taught discipline, leadership, and how to translate passion into structured teaching and performance.
Over time, my presence within the creative community naturally opened doors to opportunities in acting, including commercials and music videos, along with modeling assignments. Each experience added a new dimension to my understanding of performance and on-camera expression.
Event hosting eventually became one of the most defining parts of my career. Today, I have hosted over 500 live events across the United States, including celebrity concerts, cultural festivals, corporate events, luxury experiences, and fundraising galas. Hosting has allowed me to truly connect with audiences in real time and create energy that shapes the entire experience of an event.
What sets me apart is my versatility across multiple creative disciplines, from dance and choreography to hosting and live performance, combined with a strong sense of discipline and professionalism. Being comfortable both within structure and in front of an audience has allowed me to adapt seamlessly to high-energy, high-pressure environments.
What I am most proud of is how organically this journey has evolved. Every stage of my career has been built through consistency, resilience, and staying connected to my craft. Nothing has been linear, but everything has been intentional in its own way.
More than anything, I want people to know that my brand represents energy, authenticity, cultural fusion, and evolution. I am not just building a career in entertainment, I am actively shaping myself into a creative entrepreneur who builds experiences, connects communities, and brings people together through art and live energy.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist is the connection with the audience. There is something really powerful about stepping onto a stage and feeling people respond in real time, the energy, the excitement, the smiles, and the way the whole room can shift within seconds.
I genuinely love what I do, so performing, hosting, or creating an experience never feels like work. It feels like purpose. There is glamor, lights, music, and all of that is beautiful, but what truly matters is the emotion behind it.
What stays with me the most is seeing happy faces in the crowd. That moment when people are fully present, enjoying themselves, and forgetting everything else around them is everything for me. Knowing that I can be a part of creating that feeling, even for a few minutes, is the real reward.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
In my journey, one of the biggest tests of resilience has been navigating the event and entertainment industry as a female artist. This space brings together all kinds of people from different walks of life, personalities, expectations, and energy levels, and not every experience is easy or predictable.
There have definitely been moments that were challenging, whether it was dealing with bias, being underestimated, or simply learning how to hold my ground in environments that can sometimes feel overwhelming. In live events especially, you are constantly adapting in real time, and as a woman in this industry, there are situations where you have to be more aware, more prepared, and more composed than people realize.
What has helped me stay steady is clarity about who I am and why I am doing this. I have learned to set boundaries without losing grace, to stay professional even in difficult situations, and to focus on the work rather than the noise around it. Over time, experience has built confidence, and confidence has built resilience.
Despite the challenges, I have also met incredibly supportive people and had beautiful experiences that outweigh the difficult ones. Every event, every stage, and every interaction has added to my strength. It has taught me how to stay grounded, stay focused, and continue growing in a space that is dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly evolving.
