Hi Shiran & Noy, thanks for joining us today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?
First off, we’re the happiest business owners. We started out working together in the sales space and always spoke about how we’re going to change the event industry. 9-5 never worked for us; we’re way too outgoing for one on one’s and knew we’d thrive in front of crowds. When we started TMUNA NYC LLC, we knew it was going to be a hit. We’re finally doing what we love, day in & day out. We’re at events, sharing in people’s celebrations – and very often (knowing us) we’re bringing the vibe to the party. We always knew we love working with people, and we always thought about how we’re going to bring our personal touch and style to both our business and clients’ events. Now that we’ve been doing this for over 2 years, we know we’re finally in our comfort zone.


Shiran & Noy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
TMUNA NYC was born out of the need to provide every guest with a magnetic party favor that does not get thrown out. We wanted to bring a souvenir to the event industry that lasts forever. Our main goal is to create a full all inclusive experience that continues long after the event is over. We came up with the idea of the recyclable paper not only for the environment but so that they last forever. Since our souvenirs hang to any magnetic surface, clients now have a daily reminder from their special day.
What we are most proud of is that we are the first in New York City to change the face of the photo booth industry. FROM FORGETTABLE TO MEMORABLE. We put customer experience at the forefront of the photo booth concept. It’s not just a photo booth—it’s an experience – which is reflected in every aspect of our business: from our custom made retro booth made of real wood, to the design of the souvenir itself, and the fact that the we’re on site ensuring a smooth process while bringing life & energy to every event.

From the moment a client gets in touch with us we’re very hands on customizing everything to match their theme from the graphics to the small details to make it perfect.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
Our story of how we met is actually quite funny. We worked together in sales for a year and a half, and not a day went by during that time without us planning how we would join forces and change the face of the events world. We started as good friends, and naturally, we knew that the business partnership between us would lead to great professional success.


Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What helped us build our reputation is mainly our personalities. TMUNA NYC is based on the shared character and energy between the two of us, which is definitely contagious. Through word of mouth, we’ve built an audience that loves our product and what we offer, and we’re proud to say that this achievement is completely organic. We always make sure to bring life to the event and be the most exciting attraction at the party.
