SHERRI, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
It is so hard to choose the MOST meaningful project, because our entire focus in our work is to CAPTURE the beautiful and precious moments for our clients. EVERY moment we capture with our lenses is meaningful. From weddings, Graduations, Milestones, Family moments, EVERY aspect of life has memories they want captured, and it’s all priceless. ALL memories have meaning.


Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I started my studio because I have children, and I started taking photos of them regularly. I fell in love with the camera… I soon branched out into other types of photography, and eventually was introduced to weddings… I LOVE weddings, so I built my team and now we travel around the country to shoot weddings, and also host other session types locally and in our studio.
We offer photo and video services for all types of sessions & events, ranging from portraits to wedding to boudoir & specialty sessions. We offer a wide range of packages and products.
We are ALL about our client’s happiness. That is our goal with our job. We will go above and beyond to do WHATEVER we can to assure that everything runs smoothly for our clients and that they are happy with the end result.
We are most proud of how much we have grown and expanded in the past couple years, and how much we have accomplished as a team. We have been able to adjust and adapt as needed on the spot when the conditions call for it. We work hand in hand with our clients through the ENTIRE process to assure that the details are all recognized.


What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I love getting to meet all the people who have been through all walks of life. No two sessions or events are the same, and I love getting to see all the unique takes the clients have for their photos.
I love the end results of what we capture with our clients. I’m always excited to see our sneak peeks because I love the beauty that we are able to capture for our clients. We get to capture the raw emotion in our subjects and tell their story with our cameras.


What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
We do some advertising on Facebook and social media platforms, and have subscribed to paid ads and wedding vendor platforms for advertising as well… Paid advertising honestly does get you somewhere, but it’s all so expensive!
Advertising is hard, there’s no easy way to go about it… but unfortunately it is a necessary evil in our line of work… So we do what we have to do….
Honestly, though, out of all the methods of advertising that are available for us, and all the methods we use, WORD OF MOUTH is still the best; most reliable form of advertising to get the word out there…
Business cards handed to a person, past client recommendations… that’s still the best way to meet new potential clients for a business.
