As someone who has spent 17 fulfilling years working for the American Red Cross, I have gained invaluable lessons and experiences that have shaped me both professionally and personally. My role involved providing essential support to people in need, ranging from organizing blood transfusions to preparing nourishing meals with my unique flavors.

One of the most important lessons I learned during my time at the American Red Cross was the significance of consistency and dedication in helping others. The joy that comes from making a difference in someone’s life, be it through a simple act of kindness or a lifesaving transfusion, is immeasurable. I have seen firsthand the impact that compassion and unwavering commitment can have on individuals facing challenging circumstances.

My name is Shay McCrommon, and I am thrilled to share a bit about myself and my journey . For 17 years, I have been dedicated to serving with the American Red Cross, where my passion for helping others has truly flourished.

Outside of work, I find joy in pursuing my hobbies, which include skating, cooking, and spending quality time with my family. Recently, I embarked on a new chapter in my life by marrying my beloved wife, Stacy McCrommon, on December 12, 2021. Together, we share our love with our two adorable fur babies who bring endless happiness to our home.

In 2021, I ventured into the world of entrepreneurship and founded Flavors on Flavors Catering Business. Cooking has been a lifelong passion of mine, starting at a young age of seven. I take great pride in creating nutritious and delicious meals that not only satisfy the palate but also leave a lasting memory for those who indulge in them.

One of the things that drive me in my culinary endeavors is my love for a challenge and the opportunity to engage in open communication with others. I believe that through my craft, I can not only create food but also weave together moments that bring people closer together in laughter and enjoyment.

I am most proud of my resilience and determination to pursue my dreams, even in the face of adversity. Every event, big or small, presents a canvas for me to work with, and I derive immense satisfaction from seeing the smiles on people’s faces as they enjoy the dishes I prepare.
