We recently connected with Shaunti Lally and have shared our conversation below.
Shaunti, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?
Living as an artist has allowed me to set my own course and explore an authentic way. It is a navigation into the mystery of each moment, which for some people can be scary, but for me it is an opportunity for discovery of creative solutions to unique and unexpected challenges. Though predictability is helpful, i dont feel i can grow as well in the routine.l of a “regular job”.
Each of our paths are so individualized and our offerings are so personal. Giving my life force energy away for someone else’s profit seems illogical to me and so, its become so important for me to work for myself, according to what I believe is my highest soul purpose.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
What a tough question to respond to! It hard for me to tell you how i got to where i am today. Firstly i never thought of myself as an “artist” or a “leader” growing up. I have spent my adult years, learning about myself these blossoming abilities and drives.
Travel has perhaps been the biggest catalyst for this unfolding, as if being in a foreign land gave me the unfamiliar contrast to see myself truly. I wrote my first poem in Italy when i was 19, but disnt think of myself as a writer til some years later.. Even longer still until i was 27 and i had the breakthrough that i was an artist! Having taken photos for most of my youth, it wasnt util journying to Nepal that 27th year that it dawned on me that i was a photographer! Even later in life that i was a musician! For me the mark or measure was the first time i was paid to do any of these things that made them real to me, becoming a “professional” is what set it in motion!
Once in motion, creating “art” was all i wanted to do. I realized that art was a matter of how we perceive the world, perspective was a creative decision making and that our lives are creation in motion. The most profound artistry is the life we live.
If we are honest with ourselves, eventually we will ask, “what is it that i actually want?” If anything is possible then why would i chose to create, or participate in a world of destruction? I wouldnt, if i had the free choice, i would choose peace on earth, i would choose Heaven on Earth, i would chose to be creator of my life and would actively manifest these realities!
And so in 2019 I took a step toward creating a new reality for planet Earth, a step that i believe is the most important creation i have yet been a part of, i created the Earth Church Circle, a community lead, Spirit lead grassroots spiritual organization designed to empower Earth based wisdom teachings as well as personal empowerment toward a more loving, just and balanced world. Its is our mission to help humanity to remember to treasure this planet, as the Earth is our Sacred home.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
I think our society is at a major crossroads and some creative decisions are needed. Do we continue down the path that has been laid before us, a part that seems to be dangerous close to the cliffs edge, or do we choose to live again in harmony with Nature and our greater selves. If Heaven and hell are options on the spectrum of Earth, can we not find that something we all share, that thing that unifies us a people of a single planet? We can invest in new ways, which turn out to be old ways, of leaving this place better then how we found it, and water the seeds of peace as often as as diligently as those that sew seeds of hate. Love will win because it is the most rewarding option, it is my job to ensure people know they have the chose!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The mission is simple, help awaken the people to their choice. If you knew that you could effectively live as a creator of reality, and that in your powers as a creator could turn grey walls colorful, and that by creating, your art would awaken more beauty and more love in the people that see it, would you not choose that over anything? If you could feel the satisfaction of composing a song, or writing a speech, or making an inspirational video, that feeling would replace the hollow sense that many carry that they are powerless in a cruel and unforgiving world. The fulfillment of bringing the best of yourself, your heart, your art into the world is unmatched.
