Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sharleen Shayan. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Sharleen, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
So, I realized I was spiritual and into crystals at a super young age, and always loved wearing jewelry. Every time I wanted a new crystal, it was always so pricey! So, I decided to open up my own store to not only share my love of jewelry and crystals, but to have them at affordable prices so others do not have to spend so much money on something they love!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
So, I believe I was about 14 years old when I went into my first spiritual store and was attracted to crystals. I then did research on them and learned so much about them, and went onto my healing journey without evening knowing it. Not only did I always carry crystals, but I LOVED wearing them, too. With that, my love of jewelry came. I started wearing jewelry and crystals and as I got older and crystals started getting more popular, the prices were becoming ridiculous. That is when I decided I need to do something for others that feel what I feel – and decided to open up my own online store. I have jewelry crystals and crystal jewelry! So, not only can you carry crystals in your bag, but you can wear them, too!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Well, my personal social media is somewhat big (over 40k followers). So, when I started social media for my business, a few people did support me and follow me there. It’s not that big, but I know posting often and socializing and connecting with others does help! Some advice I would give is do not give up. It can be hard and hurtful if your base is not growing, but keep doing what you are doing and the right people will find you and support you!


We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
I always have my emails on and reply to every email, as well as any messages that come through on social media. I think it is super important to have amazing customer service, especially for a small business. Word of mouth is important in these growing times, so being a business that actually helps someone when needed is important. I also LOVE when I get DMs on my business and personal instagrams when people want advice or have questions! I definitely love connecting and making new friends.
