We were lucky to catch up with Sarah Denmark recently and have shared our conversation below.

Sarah , appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

Hi my name is Sarah Denmark, and like so many other women and men I have tried everything in the stores in reference to skincare and nothing seemed to work for me. So, I decided to start my own skincare line for a few great reasons and I’ll give you my top two. One I would know exactly what’s in the products and two provide the importance of healthy skin.

For about almost a year prior to launching my business I studied, researched, and tested each individual ingredient because, I needed to know the benefits each ingredient had to offer the skin. So, as I continued my research I learned that some of the natural ingredients that we eat like ginger, honey, bananas, blueberries, mangos, almonds, grains, and oats just to name a few had some amazing benefits for the skin. At this point I knew that this wasn’t just an idea anymore I definitely needed to share this with the world.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Hi my name is Sarah Denmark the Owner and Founder of Sarah’s Soothing Smoothies LLC. I’m a Mother of two amazing children, a Wife, and I work a day job as an Office Clerk for Orange County Public Schools.

To be honest I started my business with the drive and motivation of loving selfcare and the importance of taking care of your overall health. Skin health is apart of selfcare we must take care of our skin. It’s going to stick with us for awhile right? Why not enjoy the journey with feeding it natural ingredients. I overly love skincare and I love being able to provide natural, quality, cruelty free, and affordable skincare products.

Having the ability to create natural products that render amazing results is so exciting to me. We take pride in our products being manufactured here in the USA and we are the only skincare company where our products must be refrigerated due to their natural contents. How cool is that? If you think about most skincare products can be left out in your bathroom or bedroom.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Honest, passion, open minded, approachable, humility, knowledgeable, and a listening ear. I truly believe this combination has tremendously helped me build my reputation within the market.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

The most effective way of growing my clientele has been through word of mouth and social media. In my opinion word of mouth has been so beneficial to our brand. What better way to market is to have actual clients talk about our brand to other’s the benefits and results our products have afforded them. I absolutely love it!!
