We recently connected with Rodney Harris and have shared our conversation below.
Rodney, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
Yes i manage my own social media accounts. All content is made and edited by myself.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Rodney. I’m 28 years old from Washington,DC. I got into the automotive industry because I’ve always had a love for automobiles and the process of tearing down, then rebuilding them. I took a 2 year course my junior and senior years of high school. Soon after i found myself working in a dealership. I used the dealerships as stepping stones, and treated them like paid internships to get the keys i needed to succeed in the industry. The services i provide are efficient mobile automotive maintenance and repair. I’m able to help customers take care of vehicle maintenance in a more convenient way due to my mobile capabilities. I’m most proud of the network of clients and associates I’ve built while being independent. I want everyone to know that I’m here to help, whether that be through service or just consultations, i like to help however i can.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for me has easily been word of mouth. Reliable service is talked about more than i knew initially. My name comes up in more than a few conversations and friends often tell me they’re someone they’ve extended my info to that needs help with their vehicle.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
The number one thing that’s help to build my reputation would have to be my work. Second would be my personality. I think people appreciate a more personal and personable experience with service providers. Good service and good customer service go hand in hand.
