QSHEBRA , appreciate you joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?

Being a person that comes from an environment of Poverty, Prostitution and Power-less opportunities-I decided to take an idea of hope which later revealed as vision led me on the journey of Execution. The beginning part was figuring out how to turn my fear of success into implementing a vision of hope, happiness and hope for the future. Most of the time, I felt guilty if I decided to move past the restrictions set to stop me from overcoming the fear of starting a business and implementing a vision to help me and my family escape the psychological state of poverty.

After desiring a better future for my family of five, I decided to write down every idea I allowed to be placed inside of my mental compartment over the last few years. I later discovered the idea that released the visions that would allow my family to find their purpose, passion while being productive in life. The greatest challenge was being consistent and denying complacency. My inspiration came from the position of posture to keep believing and knowing all things were possible.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

In 2004, I launched my first Coaching and Consulting business in Tennessee for individuals who struggle with a challenging background whether personal or business and requires assistance in being Productive in Purpose. I used the strategy of identifying my challenges in finding my voice in the darkest moments in life and now I do the same for others.

As a Self Published Author of T.R.U.E. Shades of H.E.R. (The Molding Matrimony), Visionary of B.A.M.M. EmpowerEment Ministries and ALL V.I.S.I.O.N.S. ENTERPRISE, LLC, I use my life story to help others find their value and victory in their own story while turning it into business and opportunities to help others.

I believe my business is set apart because I had the opportunity of being a mom of five beautiful children and taking them on a healing journey as we faced the challenges that were generational and came out being victorious after finding out who we were created to be and how we can become change agents in the areas of Confidence, Boldness and Black Productivity and Power.

My proudest moment is when I take a look at my adult children and see the amazing things they are doing while remembering the foundational keys that positioned them with favor, fortitude and appreciation of the developmental journey in personal and business while unlocking the many opportunities to freely walk in purpose.

As of today, I am a Vision Coach/Strategist who serves as a transformational & motivational speaker. who allows my passion and desire to encourage, inspire, and empower others to live without limits while pursuing their dreams, identifying aspirations, and reaching goals through purposeful provision. One of my life’s philosophies is ‘’In Order for You to Be It-You Must Be Willing To See It-Open Your Eyes To See Yourself As You Are and that’s GREAT.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

In 2018, I was faced with divorce, homelessness and losing my first child. Even though, I was raised on how to overcome anything, the double loss gave me no direction or interest in moving forward in life. My son was the beginning of my heart beating again at the age of 18 after years of abuse and trauma.I was overpowered in the losses which left me living in fear of building again just to have something taken from me.

Losing my son was the most traumatizing experience I’ve had in life which left me heartless and mentally paralyzed. It felt like my heart was cut from my body. Even though I knew this was a premature death-I believed there was still purpose within my son’s heart. His Father and I decided to give someone else the chance at life. so we donated his heart.

Four years later, we had no clue if the person would be interested in meeting us. We received a letter about six months ago which gave my family the opportunity to meet my new son. I felt like my heart has been restored and I get a chance to see the amazing things my new son will accomplish because of the great heart he has. I am no longer homeless, and the divorce allowed me time to learn to love me all over again while my faith was being restored.

All in all. I help walk with individuals who have experienced a loss or a traumatic situation and need help with rediscovering their vision.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

One lesson I had to unlearn was believing that I was not good enough based on where I grew up and how I was raised.

Raised in the projects of Memphis, Tennessee, I felt like I would never be smart enough to speak in front of anyone after dropping out of high school to take care of my siblings. At the age of 12, I was left to raise my sisters so I would not lose them to the state. Being the eldest of five girls, I was ashamed of my mom’s drug problem so I didn’t talk to anyone.

Some people have opinions based on leadership but this challenged my inner leadership ability to lead, laugh and learn in the darkest moments of life. I am so grateful for the opportunity because it taught me how to build my character, confidence and integrity as a leader and speaker.
