We were lucky to catch up with Osesa Emmanuel Oluwafemi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Osesa Emmanuel , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?
“I wouldn’t say it’s about being ‘happier’ as a business owner—it’s more about being fulfilled. There’s a difference. Ownership comes with pressure, responsibility, and a level of risk that most people don’t see. But at the same time, it comes with freedom, purpose, and the ability to build something that’s truly yours.
I remember a moment not too long ago—I was juggling a lot. We had moving parts on the business side with Invisible Tech and CFS Naija, deadlines, decisions that affected other people’s livelihoods. At the same time, I was deep into finishing my Truth EP, trying to make sure the music was honest and impactful. It was one of those nights where everything felt heavy. No noise, just me thinking.
And for a brief moment, I thought about what it would feel like to have a regular job—to be able to clock out, to not carry the weight of every decision, to not have everything depend on you. Just a simpler structure.
But that thought didn’t last long. Because right after that came another realization—I’m not built for average. I wouldn’t trade the pressure for comfort if it means giving up purpose. The same weight that feels heavy is also the same weight that builds strength.
What I took from that moment is that it’s normal to think about an easier path when things get intense. But you have to remember why you chose this path in the first place. For me, it’s about legacy, impact, and ownership—whether it’s through my music or the businesses I’m building.
So no, I don’t really wish for a regular job. I respect it, but I know my calling is different. I’d rather carry pressure with purpose than comfort without directions

Osesa Emmanuel , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is E2M, and I’m a musician, entrepreneur, and creative visionary focused on building impact through both sound and structure. My journey into music started from a deep passion for expression and storytelling. Growing up, I was always drawn to rhythm, culture, and the ability of music to connect people across different backgrounds. Over time, that passion evolved into a career, and today I create Afrobeat-inspired music that reflects real-life experiences—truth, growth, hustle, and elevation.
That’s what my recent project, Truth EP, represents. It’s not just music for entertainment—it’s a body of work rooted in honesty and reality. I want listeners to hear it and see themselves in it, whether they’re chasing success, going through challenges, or finding their identity.
Alongside music, I stepped into the business world with the same mindset—building something meaningful and lasting. I’m a co-CEO of Invisible Tech and CFS Naija, where we focus on steel construction, infrastructure, and innovative building solutions. Through these companies, we provide services that contribute to real development—creating durable structures, supporting economic growth, and delivering reliable solutions for clients who want quality and efficiency.
What sets me apart is my ability to operate in both creative and corporate spaces at a high level. A lot of people separate art from business, but I’ve learned how to merge the two. Music allows me to inspire and influence culture, while business allows me to build systems, create opportunities, and establish long-term impact. I’m not just thinking about the moment—I’m thinking about legacy.
For clients and partners, what we offer is reliability, vision, and execution. In business, we solve the problem of inconsistency and lack of innovation by delivering solid, forward-thinking construction solutions. In music, I aim to solve the disconnect people often feel by creating authentic content that speaks to real life.
What I’m most proud of is the journey itself—being able to start from vision and turn it into something tangible, whether that’s a project like Truth EP or building companies that are actively growing and making an impact. It’s proof that with discipline, belief, and the right mindset, you can create your own path.
What I want people to know about me and my brand is simple: everything I do is intentional. I stand on authenticity, growth, and excellence. I’m here to build—build sound, build structures, and build a legacy that lasts beyond me. And this is only the beginning.”

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Resilience has been a constant theme in my journey, especially balancing both music and business at the same time. One moment that really stands out was during a period when everything felt like it was being tested at once.
On the business side, we were dealing with major pressure—projects, expectations, and the responsibility that comes with running companies like Invisible Tech and CFS Naija. There were delays, tough decisions, and moments where things didn’t go as planned. At the same time, I was working on my Truth EP, and creatively, I felt that pressure too—wanting the music to be real, to connect, and to represent where I was mentally and emotionally.
I remember a specific point where it felt like everything slowed down. Progress wasn’t as fast as I wanted, and it would’ve been easy to get discouraged or take a step back. But instead of stopping, I leaned into the pressure. I went back to the foundation—discipline, consistency, and belief in the vision.
There were long nights where I had to separate emotion from execution—handling business during the day and locking in creatively at night. It wasn’t comfortable, but it built something in me. I learned how to stay focused even when results aren’t immediate, and how to keep pushing when things don’t look perfect.
What came out of that period was growth on every level. The businesses became stronger, and Truth EP became more authentic because it was created in a real moment, not a perfect one.
That experience taught me that resilience isn’t just about surviving tough times—it’s about using those moments to sharpen who you are. Now, when challenges come, I don’t question the process—I understand it’s part of building something real.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my journey came when I realized I couldn’t approach music and business the same way I did at the beginning. Early on, like a lot of creatives, I was moving purely off passion—releasing music, creating, and just going with the flow. But at a certain point, I saw that if I wanted longevity, I had to evolve from just being an artist into being a strategist.
At the same time, on the business side with Invisible Tech and CFS Naija, things were becoming more structured and demanding. I couldn’t afford to move casually anymore—decisions had real consequences, and growth required systems, planning, and leadership.
The real pivot happened when I stepped back and reassessed everything. I started treating my music like a business—focusing on branding, positioning, and intentional releases instead of just putting out content. That shift is what led to projects like Truth EP, where every record had purpose and direction.
It wasn’t easy, because it meant unlearning certain habits and being more disciplined with my time and energy. I had to become more organized, more selective, and more patient. But that pivot changed everything—it gave me clarity and control.
What I learned from that experience is that growth requires adjustment. You can’t stay in the same mindset and expect different results. Sometimes the next level of your life demands a new version of you.
Now, I move with intention in everything—whether it’s music or business. That pivot didn’t just improve what I do, it transformed how I think.
