Hi Nuha, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Hello my Name is Nuha Hassan owner of Chic interiors and staging by Nuha. As a mother of 4 I know how overwhelming the process to design or decorate your dream home can be. I wanted to start this business to help other professionals and mothers achieve their dream designs and homes I believe everyone deserves to live in their dream home no matter what style or design they like. I started this mission to make life easier and become your designer BFF and guide you threw the process. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves a sophisticated harmonious space that they can call home no matter how big or small that space is .

Nuha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I got into the interior design industry because of the passion and love I had for creating beautiful spaces and solving problems such as storage and organizing. I am so passionate about designing and decorating weather the client is selling their home or designing their dream home I thrive to give the best design and solutions possible to get the best results. I help everybody from busy professionals to mothers to empty nesters no matter how the big or small the project is i always put my self in my clients shoes and that is what helps me deliver the best service possible i save them stress time and even money by making the process easy and going step by step to assure everything is very well taken care of.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

As a new business owner and of course coming from a stay home mom background lol I went into the industry with little knowledge and open mind to learn and beat the odds it is definitely not easy starting a small business especially these days with the way the economy is going but I took the decision to just put myself out there although that was definitely out of my comfort zone as I am a private person especially on social media but I built the courage and started little never got discouraged when the doors will shut or a proposal will fall threw if anything it makes me more determined than ever to keep going and finding other solutions or ways. I didn’t give to much ear to those whose told me your wasting time or it’s impossible I kept my motto where nothing is impossible if you work on it and really want. My advice to anyone starting out there never get discouraged or give up there will be times where you think all the odds are against you or even doubt that this will work but if your are determined enough you will make it . I always look for ways to better my self and my business I love taken advice but at the end of the day every experience is different and sometimes what works for one person will not work for you. I started slow on social Media also started with family and friends and took it from their . As a new business owner you will not always have the funds to hire marketing and other things that can help so I did it myself until I was able to determination and courage will get you to your goal.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

When I first started my business I did not have to put to much into it. My husband helped me with the first part and the expenses I need to get it up and running and I took it from there .
