Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Noe & Brenda Montoya. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Noe & Brenda thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you think folks should manage their own social media or hire a professional? What do you do?
We used to manage our Social Media, but it can get overwhelming with a full time job, two year old, spouse and a small business. Luckily through our events we met Ilse. Through her business, Connect Media Firm, she took all of our social media to another level. We have been blessed enough to see her grow and are so excited to be one of her clients. She is truly the best!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We are Quick Snap Events, a Houston/Pearland Based Photo Booth Business. We started in late 2016 after using a Photo Booth at our Sister’s Wedding. We had so much fun but we thought to ourselves, we could do this better. So we bought our first Unit in the Fall of 2016 and things took off from there, we upgraded our equipment*Diamond Booth) in 2018 then added a second booth(Tuxedo) in 2019. We take pride in providing a full service photo booth, we have never been a fan of getting a service then you have to pay for all of the “ADD-ONs” you really wanted in the first place. So we include everything in our packages From Day one we have always tried to go beyond what the client expected. We think because of that most our our business has been referrals.
Our proudest moments have to have been when we are able to give back. After our first full year, we were connected with Children’s Memorial Herrmann Hospital and have donated our time/services for several parties for the incredible children from the hospital, we were even able to take part in “Operation Snowstorm” OSS brings a winter wonderland to the doorsteps of terminally ill children facing cancer.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
As we mentioned we try our best to go above the clients expectations, we know there are other Photo Booths out there but the fact that we give all of our best to every event. It has help build our brand as an elegant and all inclusive option.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Like most businesses in 2020 and 2021 we suffered the effects of this Pandemic. We were very lucky to have survive and had several clients who booked us in early 2020 and did not cancel. They kept rescheduling and when things started to open up again we had some great events to close out 2021. To be frank we are extremely grateful because these clients kept Quick Snap Events alive and ready for 2022!
