We recently connected with Noam Wolf and have shared our conversation below.
Noam, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents exemplified two key principles that have shaped my life profoundly. Firstly, they instilled in me the unwavering belief that with determination and hard work, there are no limits to what I can achieve. Secondly, they led by example, demonstrating that the realm of possibilities is boundless.
One cherished memory from my childhood, at the age of 12, stands out vividly. During a family trip in Israel (my home country), we made a stop for a quick picnic in the desert. At that time, I carried my beloved Discman, a gift for my Bat Mitzvah, everywhere I went. I was engrossed in listening to my first CDs as a young teen: Britney Spears’ ‘Baby One More Time’ and Christina Aguilera’s debut album. However, I got distracted as I was called back to the car. Two hours later, upon reaching our hotel, I realized that my cherished Discman was missing. My heart sank, and I thought I had lost it forever. Yet, my mother remained remarkably composed and reassured me that we would retrieve it.
Without hesitation, she contacted the police department in the southern region of Israel where we had stopped for lunch. She guided the officer to the very tree under which I had been sitting. To our dismay, it was nowhere to be found. In the vicinity, there were a few Bedouin tents, and my mother speculated that perhaps someone had found and taken the Discman. She urged the officer to investigate this possibility. Remarkably, there it was – in the possession of a young Bedouin child. My mother’s quick thinking and resourcefulness came to the fore. She asked the officer to bring it home with him and, five days later, on our return journey, we stopped at the officer’s house bearing chocolates as a gesture of goodwill. It was there that I was joyfully reunited with my Discman.
This experience left an indelible impression on me, revealing that there is always a solution. My mother’s resourcefulness and creativity inspired me deeply, making her seem invincible. It showed me the power of resilience and determination, qualities that continue to guide me in my pursuits.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a 33-year-old Israeli native who has called the United States home for the past six years, thanks to the coveted O1 Visa of extraordinary abilities I earned for my musical prowess. My journey in the world of music began at a tender age, nurtured within the embrace of a family deeply rooted in the musical arts. My mother, a former performing vocalist, and my father, a lead trumpet player at one of Israel’s premier conservatories, instilled in me a profound love for melodies and harmonies.
Under their nurturing guidance, I embraced multiple musical instruments and spent countless hours honing my vocal talents. Their unwavering support saw me through years of relentless rehearsals, band performances, and auditions. Yet, despite this familial encouragement, the prevailing consensus in my surroundings insisted that music could not be a viable profession.
Consequently, I veered into the realm of sales, a discipline I believe to be one of the most vital skills in our world. My post-military service career trajectory saw me rapidly ascend the ranks, demonstrating my ability to bridge cultural divides and conduct business fluently in English. In short order, I was identified as leadership material, earning promotions and responsibilities in managing teams across various companies.
All the while, my passion for music continued to burn brightly. I remained dedicated to composing, recording, and independently releasing my music. Then, around 2014, I underwent an assessment through a consulting firm designed to identify one’s innate skills and aptitudes. The outcome was unequivocal: my destiny lay in entrepreneurship, combining my two deepest passions and talents – music and sales.
I had long harbored a complex relationship with my affinity for financial success, often feeling a sense of discord within my artistic circles and even at music school. Society often admonishes the pursuit of wealth as an ignoble pursuit, casting aspersions of greed. It was a challenge reconciling this with my identity as a musician. However, over time, I have come to embrace this facet of my personality. Today, I unapologetically aspire to create the best life not only for myself but also for my future family, dispelling the myth that striving for financial prosperity is inherently avaricious.
Shortly thereafter, I crossed paths with Avi, my now-husband. At the time, I held the position of Vice President of Sales at a prominent online investment firm, managing a sizable workforce and commanding extensive hours. While the financial rewards were ample, I was deeply inspired by Avi, a dedicated saxophonist who eked out a living through recording and performing. This encounter served as a catalyst for me to relinquish my lucrative corporate role and embark on a journey into the world of live music for corporate and private events.
Years later, we found ourselves in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, a city teeming with opportunities to foster our dual careers in music and business. Presently, we operate a professional home recording studio where Avi lends his talents to production services. Together, we collaborate on writing and composing music for synch and pitching purposes. As for me, I assume the mantle of recording and arranging vocals for a wide spectrum of projects.
Moreover, we established Sunny Entertainment, our own entertainment enterprise, specializing in live music, featuring me as the vocalist and Avi on saxophone, alongside an array of other captivating entertainment options tailored for corporate and private events along the West Coast. Our hallmark is a blend of artistic authenticity and unwavering professionalism, a rarity within the realm of musicians.
In my personal brand as an artist, I unite the seemingly disparate worlds of art and commerce, preserving an ethos that remains genuine and devoid of corporate artifice. I endeavor to remain authentic in all my pursuits, with the hope of inspiring and aiding those around me in realizing their true potential. I take great pride in the meticulousness and intentionality that infuse every facet of my work, upholding unwavering standards of quality and authenticity.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
In hindsight, the revelation of AI’s capabilities, a relatively recent phenomenon, elicits a profound sense of what might have been. The quantum leap in efficiency and time-saving potential it bestows is nothing short of astonishing. My fascination with the AI toolkit available on the internet today knows no bounds. In this digital age, AI serves as my creative muse, igniting inspiration when writing songs, devising comprehensive social media strategies, crafting specific captions, blog posts, and web content, and even conjuring polished professional photos and headshots with the simple press of a virtual button.
I’m thrilled to see where this AI transformation is going to take us.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Shortly after I crossed paths with Avi who was my boyfriend at the time, a pivotal moment emerged when he secured a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music, an institution he had long regarded as the apotheosis of his aspirations. I was confronted with a profound sense of devastation, fearing that this juncture might mark the termination of our relationship. My trepidation was compounded by the daunting prospect of a long-distance liaison, one that spanned continents and oceans, appearing as a Herculean trial.
In those days, my life was a whirlwind of musical ventures, a ceaseless cycle of tours, vocal recording sessions for numerous projects broadcast on Israel’s most prominent radio and television stations, and commanding the stage with my Jazz band at weekend performances. Furthermore, I had established a longstanding partnership with one of Israel’s largest universities, furnishing entertainment for their multifarious events. To add to my achievements, I had secured roles in various television shows, a testament to my growing recognition within the industry. Departing my homeland, replete with achievements and the gratification of being acknowledged, was a daunting proposition. Yet, I had forged my path through diligence and resilience once, instilling me with unwavering confidence in my ability to do so again.
A year hence, I embarked upon a transformative journey to the East Coast, dedicating two years as a youthful emissary of Israel. My vocal prowess graced grand stages, including performances at two AIPAC conventions before audiences numbering in the thousands, as well as a captivating rendition at the NH Statehouse in the presence of the NH State Governor. My voice resonated across numerous events along the East Coast, and my talents were extended invitations to captivate the Jewish communities across the country.
Following this enriching chapter, it was time for us to embark on yet another odyssey, one that would lead us to the place we yearned to call home. With the unwavering conviction that Los Angeles stood as the epicenter of the music industry, we embarked on an epic cross-country journey. In pursuit of our dreams, we undertook the arduous endeavor of rebuilding our lives from the ground up, embarking on a final, definitive chapter of resilience and reinvention.
