Nicholas, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear from you about what you think Corporate America gets wrong in your industry and why it matters.
Our travel competitors across the nation don’t get that travelers no longer want cookie cutter trips and vacations. Every type of trip and every style of traveler is unique in today’s travel landscape, and “user experience” is on the forefront. Corporate America, in terms of travel services, has a hard time personalizing travel services because of the complexity and bureaucracy of their organizations. At Journey Connected, we don’t. This is what sets us apart.

Journey Connected began in 2016 with a mission to improve travel services for eager vacationers and to offer a modern service unlike yesterday’s travel agencies. This would include an economical pay-per-day approach resulting in unique travel experiences and amenities in the most sought-after destinations. At Journey Connected, expert travel artists are trained to provide travelers with a personal level of luxury travel services: one-on-one support, amazing experiences, local area favorites, hidden travel gems, and trending travel tips. Our passion is to create custom itineraries based on the perfect tourism resources – and turn them into exceptional trips, vacations and adventures!
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
The short answer is “proven excellence.” We claim we are there for our clients, and we mean it. Each of our clients is paired with a travel artist—our modern-day definition of a talented, expert travel agent offering personalized communications—that works together with the client from the beginning of the trip planning process, along the way, and to the end of a successful journey. At Journey Connected, we strive to go above and beyond for every traveler, and we anticipate their unique needs for an easy, worry-free travel experience. We take care of every detail at the level the client desires, from general lodging and airline bookings to specific reservations and planning for activities, dining, transportation, and more. No stone is left unturned as we seek the delight and satisfaction of our travelers.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
We have a following on social media, particularly Instagram, that has proven to be a major driver of our growth and communication. This platform allows us to showcase amazing destinations around the world. Our clients have engaged with us by the use of #journeyconnected in over 15,000 posts about their journeys around the world. This is a great indicator that we have what our clients are looking for: high-quality recommendations, customized trip itineraries, and the ability to send clients where they want to go, the way they want to go.
