We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nathaniel Martinez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Nathaniel, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?
I started as a party promoter in saint Louis MO bringing out artist and connecting with them in my city. I have met and worked with artist such as Jacquees rich homie quan Getty was g herbo and more. Now I have my own marketing business I am an artist myself I have scaled up my Instagram and catalog over the years via the internet and real life connections. I manage all of my endeavors.

I help connect clients such as brands artist athletes etc to the correct people via the internet and my Instagram page I have a business email set up I go state to state making connections in real life with others that translates to the internet
How did you build your audience on social media?
I built it via e-mail real life conversations and sharing via messages on social media platforms in my younger days I would post on Facebook tagging individuals I believe who had a sort of connection that could bring the right people to me as well
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I’ve wanted to give up rapping I’ve had millions of views on YouTube plaques etc that I should have now or lost as far as my channel yet I still go hard and dont give up on my dreams and what life has in store for me
