Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Natalia Bilbao. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Natalia, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
I’ve been lucky enough to work on several really meaningful projects as an actress and as a TV host. I’ve worked on people’s passion projects like the feature film ” Love & Karma”, I’ve worked on empowering international jobs like ” In Stadium Host” for Angel City Football Club giving visibility to women sports, and I’m also developing projects that will hopefully impact and amplify diverse women’s voices.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a multilingual Emmy-winning TV host, an 11-time international award-winning actress, and a communications specialist. Born in Bilbao, Spain, my journey into entertainment is non-traditional. Before stepping on-camera, I competed across Europe as a semi-pro tennis player. That athletic discipline fueled me through earning my Business Management degree. Ultimately, my passion for storytelling led me to study theater in London and Madrid before launching my US career
Today, I work across film, TV, and live events in the USA, UK, France, and Spain. I’ve been the In-Stadium Host for Angel City FC and anchor the Emmy-winning LA This Week and LA Currents. Simply put, I bridge the gap between audiences and stories—whether I’m leading an indie thriller or commanding massive live events.
My absolute edge is versatility, physical dynamism, and cultural fluency. Fluent in four languages with a business background, I navigate diverse rooms effortlessly. Whether I’m interviewing global icons like Dwayne Johnson or breaking down local immigration policies in Mexican Spanish, I meet people where they are. I also bring a gritty, athletic edge—I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was eight. I am a production’s ‘Swiss-army knife’: I can execute heavy drama, run a teleprompter, or nail stage combat without missing a beat.
I’m incredibly proud of my 2021 LA Governors Emmy and my 11 Best Actress awards for No Man’s Law. Ultimately, I want clients and fans to know my brand is driven entirely by connection. I am here to represent different communities with force and authenticity, bringing pure professionalism, charisma, and heart to every screen and stage.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Giving voice and visibility to causes I care about and telling stories that I didn’t see growing up and that I think can have a positive and transformative impact in people. I want everyone to connect with their true selves, with their strengths and vulnerabilities and to feel safe being who they truly are. It’s about creating stories and places where people feel seen, heard and celebrated.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
My transition from professional sports to entertainment is exactly that. For years, my identity was tied to the tennis court, competing across Europe and grinding to a top 100 national ranking in Spain. But while completing my Business Management degree, I realized my true passion was storytelling.
I traded my racket for classical theater training in London and Madrid, eventually making the massive leap to Los Angeles. The beautiful part? I never left the athlete behind. The exact same discipline and resilience required to compete nationally in Spain now allows me to thrive under the intense pressure of live television.
Whether I’m anchoring the Emmy-winning LA This Week or stepping out as the In-Stadium Host for Angel City FC, I still use that athlete’s mindset every single day. The arena just changed.
