Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nancy Almaguer. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Nancy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?

I wish I was more focused earlier in my career when it came to taking social media serious. Now that I’m in school for Digital marketing, I’m learning new techniques that can beneficial in the long run as I grow my platform. I believe that time depends on the person and I just knew that it was time to start investing in my future self. I have always had a passion with creating content and now that I’m stepping into my creative side it’s been really rewarding.

Nancy, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

You have to follow your passion and plant your seeds. Everything is a learning experience, you have to really flow with whatever life throws at you. Overall, the key is to stay consistent, explore what works and what doesn’t. You have to continue to learn about your craft and trust the process. People look at my social media page and think I’m an influencer, the reality I just like to share my life with others and support local businesses in Dallas.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

You can’t depend on anyone, just do it. I learned the hard way when I tried setting up dates to do content and people wouldn’t come through.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Once I’m done with my Digital Marketing Certification I want to help businesses grow their presence on social media platforms.
