We recently connected with Myles Miller and have shared our conversation below.
Myles, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Finding those key vendors can often be make or break for a brand. Can you talk to us about how you found your key vendors?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the importance of due diligence and the power of building strong relationships. A good vendor isn’t just a service provider—they’re a partner in your success. Being clear about your needs, respectful in negotiations, and maintaining open lines of communication can make all the difference.
When I have needed to find a key vendor, like a manufacturer or distributor, my approach was methodical yet adaptive. The process began with extensive research. I started by identifying potential vendors through industry networks, online platforms, and referrals from trusted contacts. It was crucial to vet each option thoroughly, so I focused on their reputation, reliability, and alignment with my business values and goals.

Myles, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
In my entrepreneurial ventures, I serve as the President and CEO of Lion Heart Enterprises, LLC. Based in Detroit, MI, it is a personal and professional development company focusing on coaching, training, speaking, and consulting that gets dynamic results and long-lasting transformation for our clients. We specialize in empowering dreamers, visionaries, and go-getters to never give up and never quit on their Divine purpose and assignment.
I am known to my friends and family as a hard-working, loving, kind, compassionate, creative, and inspirational young man. I am a dynamic teacher and personal coach, a compelling and prolific writer, a charismatic and transformational motivational speaker, and just an all around good guy.

Any advice for managing a team?
I firmly believe that people thrive when they feel valued and trusted. When you provide your team with the tools, resources, and autonomy, they tend to perform at their best. Also, by removing the idea that failure is catastrophic, I set and maintain an environment that consistently encourages decision-making, supports creative problem-solving, and fosters innovation.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Absolutely. One story that truly illustrates my resilience is from my experience running for State Representative in Michigan’s 13th House District in 2022. Entering that race was a significant challenge, not only because of the intense competition but also because of the personal and professional demands it placed on me. There were moments when the obstacles seemed insurmountable—whether it was securing funding, earning the trust of constituents, or managing the rigorous schedule.
At one point, after months of campaigning and facing several setbacks, I was exhausted and unsure if I could continue. But I made a conscious decision to keep going. I reflected on my purpose and the values I wanted to represent, and I leaned on the lessons I’ve learned throughout my life—specifically, the importance of perseverance and staying committed to the vision, even when things are tough.
Although I didn’t win that election, I emerged from that experience with greater clarity and strength. It reinforced in me the belief that every challenge, no matter how daunting, is an opportunity to grow and refine your skills. That resilience has continued to serve me in my work as a motivational speaker, coach, and entrepreneur, reminding me that setbacks are only stepping stones on the path to success.
