We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Moon Taylor. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Moon below.
Hi Moon, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
Growing up on the farm I’ve always had the pleasure of dealing with animals, But as an adult I wanted to carry that passion further but wasn’t given that opportunity until later in life. It was just one day while bottle feeding domestic orphan kittens I realized I missed working with animals and wanted to be able to do more, so I started to do research on wildlife and what it would take to be able to rehab and help the wild animals, during my research i found out that you have to have certain license and training and classes and in addition to certain supplies and equipment and their was no financing available, So I had to make a decision and choose between giving up because I’m a single mom or take a big Risk.
I decided to take a RISK, my research kept dragging me in more and more, I saw that they was so many rehabbers for all the wildlife except Bobcats, Cougars, Foxes & Wolves.
I continued my training to specialize in these specific wildlife, in addition to gaining every possible license I could to be able to assist in every state and to help educate others. I even started my own Wildlife Sanctuary.
One day I received a call about a baby bobcat ( see Tyler’s story on his page, www.TylertheBobcat.com) this is the day when my life really changed and my RISK became even more greater.
During this journey I have managed to have Tyler the Bobcat Trademarked 5/2022 with having a real wild bobcat who is the ambassador of my wildlife sanctuary trademarked it is making it another step closer to helping change the laws to protect the wildlife and to help Protect the Bobcats and Cougars.
Everyday my journey and risk changes, but I am always willing to face the challenge.

Because of Tyler’s special needs, I have made it my goal to help specials needs wildlife and to give them a chance on life.
I teach wildlife classes to the community and to other wildlife rehabbers in order to help the community to understand and to live peacefully with the wildlife, and also to help educate other rehabbers on how to care for the specific wildlife.
Everyday my journey and risk changes, but I am always willing to face the challenge.
