We were lucky to catch up with Miranda & Eddie recently and have shared our conversation below.
Miranda & Eddie , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
Whenever you order from us, we always include free goodies, stickers, extra soaps, free samples, positive words, notes etc. When you order a custom order for bar soaps, you get all the extra soap that is made in your batch, small bars, or sample size soaps! We are always including free things for our customers! We have a quite a few regulars that we surprise with extra little things as well!

Miranda & Eddie , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We started in 2022 making all natural bar soaps, as of this year we have expanded to other natural skincare products like sugar scrubs, body washes, body sprays, beard oils and body butters! Our daughter has sensitive skin and eczema, when she was a baby we couldn’t ever find a soap in a store that wouldn’t break her out or cause her skin to be red, so I started digging around online and figured out how to make all natural bar soaps and it’s took off from there! We strive to make skincare products that are safe and fun for all skin types and all ages! We are a sensitive skin household, so we feel like we understand more than others about the benefits of using all natural products. We test all of our products on ourselves before we release it to sell. We work together to create the perfect product for people who may have a harder time finding soaps and stuff in stores for their skin issues and sensitivities!

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
So this business wholeheartedly just started as a way for us to have soaps that wouldn’t break our skin out, especially our daughter. Then I started giving it to some friends to try, I was getting a lot of positive feedback so I started selling here and there and then last year (2023) I started doing markets and arts and crafts shows and stuff and was blown away at the response from people. Then this year I started shipping all over the world and opened an Etsy shop. It started as something just for us, and now it’s bigger than I ever imagined it to be and we hope it continues to grow and reach people all over the world. One of our biggest milestones was I almost sold out at a show last year, this year our biggest milestones were shipping to customers not only in the United States but internationally as well!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
So we started this year with around 250 followers on Facebook. I created our Facebook page in April 2022. Last year I really just focused on local shows and we didn’t have an online shop or anything. The beginning of this year I decided to start doing this full time and really push it. So I started working on Facebook EVERY day 8-12 hours a day. Social media is a beautiful thing but it’s a full time job in itself. Posting and engaging is the top things. Alot of people think posting a few times a week will do the trick but unfortunately that’s not the case. The more you post and actually comment and engage with others the better your page will be. Post games, polls, debates, your products, anything to get your followers engaged with you and even each other. Always make sure to comment back to your followers. You will build a community full of people from all walks of life doing all sorts of things. The more you engage with people the more you will be seen. If somebody comments on your post, even a simple comment back of “how are you? I hope you have a wonderful day” is a great way to get people to engage with you! We are now at over 1.8k followers, we call our followers bubbles! Make it fun, stay true to who you are and you will build a community of people you will consider friends!
