Megan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe that success means something different to each and every one of us. A young mother’s success may include staying at home raising her children. A travelers success story may include taking a year off from work and traveling around the world. Whatever success means to you- I do find there is typically at least one common denominator. That common trait is that somewhere along the way, we must overcome adversity. Behind any success, if you looked close enough I believe that you will find a story of some type of failure. Being able to overcome failures and treat them as invaluable lessons through our journey is what sets us up for success, in my opinion. If I could give any other advice on how to achieve success it would include: Be resilient to the daily trials and tribulations – when you get knocked down, get up one more time.

I am originally from one of the most rural areas in West Virginia- I grew up on a gravel road surrounded by a community that treated everyone like family. I moved to South Florida nearly a decade ago to fulfill my dream of a career in real estate and a life full of purpose with adventure and giving back to others. I have been in the industry for over 13 years; from managing properties and portfolios to becoming a top producing agent and owner of Luxuré Real Estate. We created the focal point of our services to provide clients with an elevated real estate experience with first class services that is committed to top tiered results. Our team provides consistency and marketing innovation, along with fully customized programs for each of our buyers and sellers as the recipe for winning in the ultra competitive market of high end real estate.
Real Estate provided a way of creating my own path in life. I was inspired by the South Florida lifestyle & my passion for the ocean. I found that by branding myself as ‘The Mermaid Realtor’, I was able to attract waterfront clients who also loved the water along with the South Florida lifestyle- fishing, diving, and boating. My dreams come true every morning when I wake up to all of the opportunity that South Florida has provided for myself and my team. My bigger picture and purpose is encouraging others to always do better in life and help others. I am a believer in helping our local community through fundraisers and local events that make our city better each step along the way. Real Estate has provided the opportunity to always put my best foot forward, while giving back to others and our community.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
The same week that my company was approved by the State of Florida, I had gotten sick with COVID. Everyone’s body reacts differently, and my journey included months of bedrest and trips to the ER. It was during this time that I still continued to grow my business and our agents. Nearly two years later, I still suffer from health issues but I remind myself how far I have come and that I can do anything that I set my mind to. I believe working through this adversity was an integral part of my story and I hope to help inspire others to follow their dreams regardless of what life throws at us.

Consistency, relationship building, and our dedication to record breaking results time and time again.
