We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Marisa Snyder a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Marisa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
Your Story: A Journey of Renewal and Purpose
For many years, life seemed to move along a steady path, until everything changed. The loss of my husband was the darkest valley I had ever walked through. It was as if the very ground beneath me crumbled, leaving me disoriented and vulnerable. I wrestled with questions about my worth, my identity, and even my faith. This season of profound grief forced me into a place of deep self-reflection. It was during this time of brokenness that I began to truly seek the Lord in ways I never had before.
In the quiet moments of prayer and tears, God revealed something extraordinary: He saw me not as a woman defined by her losses, her trials, or her pain, but as His beloved child. He taught me to view myself through His lens, a lens of love, redemption, and purpose. It was a journey of renewal, of learning to let go of the lies I had believed about my worth and embracing the truth that I was created for something greater than my pain.
As I grew whole in Him, I realized that my story was not just for me. God placed a desire on my heart to share the lessons He had taught me, not because I had all the answers, but because I had experienced His transformative power firsthand. Taking a risk as I stepped out in faith, I began to tell my story of my struggles, my doubts, and my ultimate healing.
This was not easy. Vulnerability came with risks, but I knew that if even one woman could find hope and healing through my testimony, it would be worth it. Through this journey, Be Inspired God’s Way was born, a ministry devoted to helping women understand that their past and trials do not define them. Through women’s retreats, a Christian podcast, speaking events, and life coaching, I work to show women how to see themselves as God sees them—loved, redeemed, and created for a purpose.
It is my joy and calling to help women recognize that no matter how broken or insignificant they may feel, God’s love transforms everything. He takes our ashes and creates beauty. Today, I stand as a witness to His faithfulness, helping women overcome their hurt and step boldly into their God-given purpose. My prayer is that every woman who hears my story will know that she, too, is loved by God and called to live a life that glorifies Him in ways she never imagined.
This journey of faith, risk, and surrender has been the greatest adventure of my life—and it’s only the beginning.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
About Me and My Ministry:
My name is Marisa Snyder, and I am the founder of Be Inspired God’s Way, a ministry dedicated to helping women discover their true identity in Christ and live out their God-given purpose. My journey into this ministry stems from a deeply personal season of loss and renewal. After the loss of my husband, I found myself at a crossroads, grappling with questions of identity and worth. Through a profound journey of healing and faith, I learned to see myself as God sees me—redeemed, loved, and created for a greater purpose.
Guided by my life verse, Psalm 32:8: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you,” I have come to understand that God is always present, offering direction and encouragement. This verse has become the foundation of both my personal journey and my ministry, reminding me and the women I serve that we are never walking this path alone.
What I Do and the Services I Provide:
At Be Inspired God’s Way, I offer a variety of services and creative works designed to equip and inspire women to live in the fullness of God’s love and purpose. These include:

What Problems I Solve for My Clients:
Many of the women I work with struggle to move past the pain of their past, feeling defined by their trials, failures, or losses. Through my ministry, I help them understand that their worth is not determined by what they’ve been through but by who God says they are. I guide them in recognizing their identity in Christ, embracing God’s love, and walking in the confidence that they are uniquely equipped for a life of purpose.
What Sets Me Apart:
What sets Be Inspired God’s Way apart is its foundation in personal experience and authentic vulnerability. I don’t just speak from theory—I’ve lived through seasons of brokenness and have seen God’s healing power firsthand. This allows me to connect deeply with the women I serve, offering not just encouragement but real tools and strategies rooted in faith.
Another distinction is the multifaceted nature of the ministry. Whether through retreats, coaching, speaking, or written works, every aspect of Be Inspired God’s Way is designed to meet women where they are and guide them toward the life God has called them to live.
What I’m Most Proud Of:
I am most proud of the countless testimonies I’ve heard from women who have been transformed by this ministry. Knowing that Be Inspired God’s Way has played a role in helping someone find healing, embrace their identity in Christ, and step boldly into their purpose is the greatest reward.
What I Want You to Know About Me and My Brand:
At its heart, Be Inspired God’s Way is about transformation. It’s about showing women that they are not defined by their past but by the limitless love and grace of God. It’s about empowering them to see themselves as God does and inspiring them to live lives of purpose, hope, and impact.
My life verse, Psalm 32:8, reminds me that God is the ultimate guide, instructing and teaching us every step of the way. I want every woman who encounters this ministry to know that she is not alone, that she is deeply loved, and that her story matters. Whether you’re seeking guidance, encouragement, or a space to grow in faith, Be Inspired God’s Way is here to walk with you on your journey.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
While numerous books and resources offer valuable insights into entrepreneurship, the most transformative influence on my journey has been the mentorship of Tamra Andress, founder of F.I.T. in Faith Media.
Tamra’s personalized guidance was instrumental in evaluating every facet of the vision God placed on my heart. Her comprehensive framework and strategic approach enabled me to build and expand my ministry, resulting in a profound impact on many lives through the diverse avenues I now offer.
Her mentorship emphasized the integration of faith and business. Through her support, I gained clarity and confidence, allowing me to effectively serve the women in my community and fulfill the calling God has placed on my life.
This journey has reinforced the biblical principle of mutual support and encouragement within the body of Christ. As 1 Thessalonians 5:11 reminds us, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the most challenging seasons in my journey came with the unexpected loss of a dear friend and my podcast manager. She was not only a mentor and confidant but also someone who had an extraordinary impact on my ministry. Her expertise, wisdom, and gentle encouragement were invaluable to me, and losing her left a void in both my heart and my work.
In the days that followed her passing, I found myself overwhelmed with grief and uncertainty. I questioned how I could continue the ministry without her beauty and impactful words guiding me. She had been instrumental in helping me shape the vision for my podcast and was a constant reminder of my calling. The thought of finding someone to fill her role seemed impossible, and I wrestled with doubt, wondering if I could carry on without her.
But in those moments of despair, I remembered her gentle voice and the words she had spoken to me so many times: “You are called for a purpose. Stand firm in your calling.” Her unwavering belief in the mission God had placed on my heart became the anchor that steadied me in the storm.
I began to refocus on the mission and vision of my ministry, trusting that God’s plan was greater than my fears. I prayed fervently, asking God to provide not only direction but also someone whose love for the Lord aligned as strongly as mine—a person who could recognize the unique calling to speak into the lives of women through Be Inspired God’s Way.
It was not an easy road, but God is always faithful. Through my prayers and a devotion to seeking Him first, He fulfilled His promise. He provided a new podcast and social media manager whose heart for the Lord and dedication to the mission matched the vision I hold so dear. This new partnership has allowed the podcast to continue flourishing, reaching women with messages of hope, identity, and purpose.
This experience taught me that resilience isn’t about having all the answers or feeling strong in the moment. It’s about relying on God’s strength and trusting that He will provide a way, even when the path ahead seems impossible. Losing my dear friend was a painful chapter, but her impact on my life remains a profound blessing. Her encouragement continues to inspire me to stand firm in my calling and trust God’s provision in every season.
