Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Mario Rodriguez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Mario, appreciate you joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

one thing I can say my parents did great is teach me that I can do ANYTHING, I took that at went out into the world with it. Now I know how to do a lot because I always learn new things with the mindset I can do anything.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I got into the arts because my family members are all artists of various kinds. tattoo artists, musicians, traditional artists, graffiti, all types of different mediums. this taught me creation and being an artist from a young age. I myself am a musician and designer, really, I make what ever comes to mind but keep it all grounded with my music and art. my specialty happens to be mercy and cover arts. I’m most proud of being someone who can provide a wide spectrum of services and I evolve with every new client too.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

the most rewarding thing about being an artist is influencing others and giving them something to relate to and carry with them throughout life.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to realize you dont ALWAYS have to be in go mode, sometimes you just need to hang out with the homies and experience new things. those new experiences bleed into your work / art
