Hi Marcus , thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Well first and foremost I always kept God first I wouldn’t be where I’m at now if it wasn’t for him that’s the first priority. My backstory is that in the year 2019 I had a few ideas coming to mind and around the month of July around my birthday I did my first photo shoot and that’s when the idea came I wanted to be a model. I started to get into some modeling activities by doing shoots and fashion shows and then I wanted to go even further and got into some acting and I have got booked for tv shows and movies I would travel to Atlanta all the time for opportunities and I would definitely thank my supervisor that I work with at the hospital his name is Roger Krebs and he has been looking out for me and letting me go along on this journey and ever since I’ve got to do acting I met great people on set and even famous actors we all got to work with and it has been the greatest experience and I love the work that I’ve been doing and I’ll continue to keep doing.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
The very most thing I am proud of is that I am able to remain calm and have mindset of focus and knowing that there’s going to be a lot more attention coming to my direction and I would want my fans and followers to know that this wasn’t easy it took one step at a time and took years of hard work to get where I am now and I still have a lot more to learn on this journey. I definitely feel like for the fans and followers that if they have dream and want to pursue their goals I definitely believe that they can do it just don’t give up and don’t let any negativity distract them or make them overthink how others feel about them and I can’t wait to show the fans and followers how much they mean to me and can’t wait to show them more art.
How did you build your audience on social media?
The way I built my audience on social media is that I did photo shoots every now and then and I would also share videos from fashion shows I did and I would share most of the time of me being on set with the actors I work with but never posted too much because everything is not meant to be on social media especially when the series or movies is not available yet. My advice for those who beginning to build the media presence is to come up with ideas first before making some posts and then keep posting new things everyday till the work you put out there starts to take off and then the work will start to speak for itself.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect was receiving emails and phone calls to come to Atlanta and being booked for different sets for movies and tv shows it was like a dream come true and I knew that it wasn’t going to be an easy journey but I had to turn down some roles because I still have a full time job so I would have to make time to go back for more bookings but the most important thing is that all the credit goes to God because I couldn’t do all of this without him.
