We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mama Santee a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Mama Santee, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.

Starting my own practice was no easy task! As a matter of fact, it took years and living in Mexico before I realized I can do this! I was caught up in the lack mentality thinking i needed money to make money. This kept me running in circles for a while from house to house, client to client. Even though I was a mobile healer working in my industry, I flipping hated being mobile. I have so many supplies and tools I love using! I wanted them to come to me so bad! However, I continued providing mobile healing assistance whilst working a jobby job. I then realized my mindset was holding me back. I was having a hard time juggling both because my focus was in too many different places. Sooooo, what did I do? I quit the jobby job and solely focused on Mama Santee’s House with the ultimate goal being a brick and mortar location. For 3 years I busted my booty learned about pivots and supplementing all the while healing myself and then BOOM! I was in a car accident in October of 2021. This car accident was a blessing in disguise! I started treatment with my chiropractor who I’ve know for years who made me look at available units in the building which led med into the suite across the street! The advice I have is exactly what I would do different, and that is….JUST DO IT! Start now! What are we waiting for?! If it doesn’t work then do something different. The time is NOW! GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD AND INTO YOUR HEART!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I have been soulfully practicing for over 17 years. She is a licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Reiki Master Teacher, Quantum Energy Healer, and Shaman. Some may say a Psychic, Witchy, Shaman, Faerie Person.
From a young age, I’ve had an intense connection with the universe. This ability allows me to pick up on information, emotion, and feelings from people, as well as vibrations and messages from spirit and one’s higher self. Using these gifts, I loooove to help people access the information being sought, whether it be answers regarding the present, past, future or assistance on the journey of healing and balancing the mind, body and spirit. I truly believe that everyone has the answers they seek and the ability to heal themselves. I am here to assist in accessing the information needed in order to do so. Tapping into the energy systems of clients, and touching on important details from past, present and future in the Quantum enables me in providing useful information and space in order to begin and continue the path to healing.

We want to EMPOWER the people reminding all how we can care for ourselves naturally by trusting ourselves and utilizing a team of healers! The healer does not heal you! A healer only holds space for one to heal themself by providing guidance and support. It is your journey!!!!!!!!

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

This may be controversial, BUT I had to learn how to take my power back. Being on the journey to heal myself for quite sometime, it seems we are conditioned to run to a medical doctor for every single little thing. For them to fix us with a quick fix, a pill, whatever. We, in this day and age, want instant gratification and being so disconnected from our body and spirit we look outside of ourselves for answers when we should be going within. Medical Doctors are amazing and I am not discriminating. They are definitely miracle workers who save lives! However, most of our problems are coming from lack of nutrients, lack of exercise, lack of rest. When my health issues became so intense, I had to learn that the doctors are on my TEAM. They are not healing me. They are assisting me in healing myself through their knowledge. They are assisting me! Wow! What a revelation! Then integrating the information from the doctors, hydro colon therapy, nutrition, massage, chiropractic care, meditation, and a lot more, enabled me to literally heal myself naturally. Once i figured out that we heal ourselves it changed my life and so now I implement this into my business. Every service and product we have here at Mama Santee’s House, I literally use myself.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

What helped me build my reputation in this market is walking my talk and practicing what I preach! I just love to hold that loving space for all to heal! Like a mothers womb, it can be dark and scary BUT there IS a light at the “end” of the tunnel! Staying true to myself and remembering my purpose, what i want to accomplish, all while keeping it simple.
Basically, if I can heal myself, then YOU can too!!!!!
