We recently connected with Maggie Sova and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Maggie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Maggie Jalufka Sova | Founder of Diamonds 2 Destiny/Author/Pastor
The idea for Diamonds 2 Destiny wasn’t something I sat down and strategically planned—it was something God had been weaving together in my life for decades before I ever gave it a name.
For over 25 years, I’ve been in the diamond industry through my business, Bova Diamonds. Day after day, I worked closely with clients selecting some of the most beautiful stones in the world—diamonds that were brilliant, valuable, and breathtaking. But what always stood out to me was this: those diamonds didn’t start that way. They were formed under intense pressure, hidden in the dark, cut, refined, and shaped before they ever shined.
At the same time, I was walking through my own personal journey—seasons of pressure, challenges, growth, and deep spiritual refinement. There were moments where I felt stretched, tested, and even broken—but also moments where I experienced God’s presence in a way that was transforming me from the inside out.
One day, it was like everything came together in a divine realization.
I remember thinking: “This is it. This is the message. This is what women need to understand.”
Just like the diamonds I had worked with for years, I began to see that women—and even young people—were walking around unaware of their value. They had been through pressure, through life’s hardships, but instead of seeing it as refinement, they saw it as damage. They didn’t recognize that what they had gone through was actually producing something radiant within them.
That’s where Diamonds 2 Destiny was born.
It wasn’t just an idea—it was a calling.
Why I Knew This Was Worthwhile:
I knew this was more than a good concept because it solved a very real problem:
So many people struggle with identity, worth, and purpose.
What made this different—and what made me confident it would work—was that I wasn’t teaching something abstract. I was bringing a tangible, visual, and relatable metaphor from my real-life experience in the diamond industry and connecting it to spiritual truth.
People understand diamonds. They understand value. They understand beauty.
But when you help them see themselves as the diamond—
something shifts.
It becomes personal. It becomes real.
And that’s what no one else was doing in the way God showed me.
The Unique Approach:
What makes Diamonds 2 Destiny unique is that it bridges two worlds:
• The natural world of diamonds—formation, pressure, cutting, brilliance
• The spiritual journey of a person—refinement, identity, purpose, destiny
I wasn’t just speaking from theory.
I was speaking from experience in business and experience in life.
That combination created a message that is both practical and prophetic—something people can see, feel, and apply.
What Excited Me the Most:
What excited me the most was the transformation I began to see.
When women hear this message, something awakens in them.
You can literally watch their perspective shift—from broken to beautiful, from overlooked to chosen, from unsure to confident.
To see someone realize, “I am valuable. I am being refined. I have purpose.”
—that never gets old.
And I knew in that moment…
this wasn’t just a message for a room.
It was a movement.
Closing Statement:
Looking back now, I can clearly see how God orchestrated it all—placing me in the diamond industry long before I understood why, only to later reveal that it would become the very foundation of my ministry.
Diamonds 2 Destiny is the intersection of my life, my faith, my business, and my calling.
It’s proof that nothing in our journey is wasted
every season of pressure has the potential to produce brilliance.

Maggie , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Maggie Jalufka Sova | Diamonds 2 Destiny & Bova Diamonds
For those who may not be familiar with my brand, my journey into this industry began over 25 years ago in the diamond and fine jewelry Wholesale business through Bova Diamonds. What started as a profession quickly became a passion. I found great joy in working one-on-one with clients—helping them select diamonds and precious stones that would mark some of the most meaningful moments in their lives, from engagements to milestones and legacy pieces.
Through that experience, I developed not only an eye for quality and beauty, but a deep appreciation for the significance behind each stone—what it represents, the story it carries, and the value it holds.
That foundation eventually gave birth to Diamonds 2 Destiny, where I took everything I had learned about diamonds and connected it to personal and spiritual transformation.
What I Offer
Today, my work flows in two distinct but beautifully connected areas:
Through Bova Diamonds:
• Fine diamonds and custom jewelry
• Personal consultations for engagement rings and special pieces
• High-quality, hand-selected stones with timeless elegance
Through Diamonds 2 Destiny:
• Women’s conferences and transformational events
• Speaking engagements and ministry outreach
• Books, teachings, and resources centered on identity, purpose, and spiritual growth
At the core of both is one message: value, identity, and purpose.
What Sets Me Apart
What sets me apart is that I don’t just sell diamonds—I live the message of the diamond.
I bring together over two decades of real experience in the diamond industry with a deeply rooted faith and a passion for helping others discover who they truly are.
The diamond is not just a product to me—it’s a prophetic metaphor.
I help people see that just like a diamond:
• They are formed with intention
• Refined through pressure
• And created to shine
That intersection of business, faith, and transformation is what makes my brand unique.
What I Am Most Proud Of
What I am most proud of is the impact.
Seeing someone recognize their worth…
Watching a woman step into confidence…
Witnessing lives shift from feeling broken to understanding they are being refined—
That is everything to me.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about what I’ve built—
it’s about who has been transformed through it.
What I Want Clients to Know
The most important thing I want people to know about me and my brand is this:
You are not just another client to me—you are valuable.
Whether you are walking into my jewelry business or attending one of my conferences, my heart is the same: to serve you with excellence, authenticity, and purpose.
I want people to know that:
• I operate with integrity and intention
• I genuinely care about people, not just transactions
• And everything I do is rooted in helping others recognize their God-given worth
Because just like a diamond…
you are precious, you are being refined, and you were created to shine.
My brand is built on more than beauty—it’s built on purpose, transformation, and helping others step fully into the brilliance they were created for.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the greatest examples of resilience in my journey is not just a single moment—but a season.
There was a time in my life when I found myself walking through intense pressure—personally, emotionally, and spiritually. It was a season where things didn’t look the way I had hoped, and I had to navigate uncertainty while still showing up in my responsibilities, my business, and my calling.
From the outside, everything may have appeared strong and steady—but internally, I was being stretched in ways I had never experienced before.
And it was in that season that I truly began to understand the process of a diamond.
Diamonds are formed under extreme pressure, deep beneath the surface, hidden from view. They don’t become brilliant overnight—they are refined, cut, and shaped over time.
I realized that what I was walking through wasn’t breaking me—it was refining me.
There were moments I could have stepped back, played it safe, or even given up on the vision that was forming inside of me. But instead, I chose to lean into my faith, trust God’s process, and continue moving forward—even when it wasn’t easy.
That season became the very foundation of Diamonds 2 Destiny.
It gave me not just a message—but a testimony.
Today, when I stand before women and share about refinement, resilience, and purpose, I’m not speaking from theory—I’m speaking from experience.
And that’s what resilience has looked like for me:
Continuing to move forward with faith, even under pressure…
Trusting that what feels like a breaking point is often a breakthrough in disguise…
And allowing God to transform every challenge into something that carries purpose and brilliance.
Resilience, to me, is choosing to shine—not because life is easy, but because you understand the value being formed within you.
We ALL have a Diamond Story💎

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for me has truly been word of mouth and the relationships I’ve built over time & social Media.
In both my business, Bova Diamonds, and my ministry, Diamonds 2 Destiny, growth has come organically through trust, connection, and the experiences people have had with me and my brand.
When someone has a meaningful experience—whether it’s selecting a diamond for a special life moment or attending one of my conferences where they feel seen, encouraged, and transformed—they naturally want to share that with others.
That has led to a strong base of referrals and repeat clientele, which I value deeply.
Why It Works
I believe this happens because I focus on more than just a service or a transaction—I focus on people.
I take time to connect, to listen, and to serve with intention. That creates an experience that feels personal, memorable, and impactful.
And when people feel that level of care, they don’t just come back—they bring others with them.
What It Means to Me
What makes this especially meaningful is that it reflects trust.
Word of mouth isn’t something you can manufacture—it’s something that is earned over time through consistency, integrity, and genuine care.
So for me, the fact that my business and ministry continue to grow through relationships and repeat clients is something I’m incredibly grateful for.
At the heart of it, my greatest marketing has never been advertising—it’s been the lives I’ve touched and the relationships I’ve built.
